 Yep. I never realized how much of an industry war and establishing a "democracy" could be. And the folks making the laws and the ones doing the IPOs are getting richer and richer off it.

No one asked the paleo-cons and the liberals for anything. You don't have to fix anything and no one wants your filthy lucre.

We are no longer a republic and the constitution just gets in the way of the state's ability to "keep us all safe" from it's proxy armies of Islamic head choppers.

That's right you all shut us out. And your republican brand of socialism pried the "filthy lucre" out of our pockets at gunpoint to pay for it all no differently than the democratic socialists you always complain about do. We didn't ask for you and your neo-con buddies to spend trillions we don't have just to destroy a bunch of countries throw them into chaos and leave them in the hands of our enemies. The very same enemies you all claimed we were fighting against. Matter of fact you all called us anti-American and a danger to our own country for not being infected with the same insanity you and your neo-con heros are. Now look at the mess you've caused. And now you think making a bigger mess is going to clean up the mess you already caused? That's not just insane that's insane and stupid.

The world can't survive anymore of your "compassion" and your "love bombs".

It's time to try something different. Something sane. You all had your chance several times over and you "blew it up", literally.

And you're going to sit there and tell me that I'm wrong because I'm not part of your precious corporate sponsored majority that's already proven itself to be insane by repeating the same stupid mistakes over and over and over again?

You need to lay off the corporate sponsored neo-con kool aid my friend.

Oh brother here we go. I've heard it said that the flag is the last refuge of a scoundrel and now I'm starting to think that doubly applies to the bible.

Yeah everyone wants more war, more killing, more debt, more government, more enemies and less freedom. Yeah that's what everyone wants.

The only one you're fooling with that bible verse is yourself. Neo-cons aren't into doing good. They're into making war and reaping the profits at the expense of everyone else.

Romans 2:3 - And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

No one wants you to fix anything or part with any of your filthy lucre. Nor are you required to do anything. Nothing is asked. Everything is voluntary and you have made it clear that you condemn the entire issue from every aspect humanly imaginable. It does not matter. Don't worry; be happy! Eat, drink, and be merry.

I am required to do something. God requires me to call darkness darkness not light and my worldly allegiance is to the constitution not the state or the republican party or the neo-cons or Israel or Cuba or Ukraine or any other country the neo-cons have or want to do the regime change boogey in.

Do you think God is going to give you a pass for calling darkness light?

If so then you are a braver man than me because I fear God's judgement.

I want to know why neo-cons hate/fear the idea of peace and individual liberties so much?

This is just a little thread, Poncho, so forget it. You were not even required to read it. Just tell God that you are sorry that you read it if you think that it is a good idea. If you don't want to do that, don't. A lot of people hate Cubans for various reasons. It's no biggie. This is the 21st century.

I'd rather spend the time praying for you to overcome your addiction to the corporate kool aid. :praying:

Don't use your energy trying to fix anything, Poncho, and don't waste your resources of time and money. Remember your paleo-con principles. You are okay.

    Back to the OP -----

It's not a situation where Dems hate Cuban Americans. Most Dems want the Cuban-American vote, just like they want a Puerto Rican vote, etc. There are a couple of things going one that make the Republican party more attractive --

One - Most Cuban-Americans fled Castro and communism. This is a primary filter. As a result, they are uncomfortable with any political party that espouses big government and socialist solutions. For the most part, Cuban-Americans are hard working and self-reliant, and want no government handouts.

Two - Many Cuban-Americans are still resentful of the Bay of Pigs - when Kennedy did not provide the promised back up. In addition, historically, they have seen the Democrats "soft" on communism.

However, many of the younger CA's are much more amenable to ties with the island, including travel, etc., which was recently announced by President Obama.

Thank you very much! I agree with you 100%.

The Cuban blogs today are talking about how the exodus from Cuba is increasing for fear that Obama will stop Cubans from entering the USA in a new deal with the Castros. The Hispanic influx is limited to people who are likely to vote Democrat in 2016, as you know. The USA so far has not taken the time to look at the Castro repression and crimes against humanity as Castro has ties into Hollywood since the late 1950s. People are speculating that Rubio will get a bigger backlash than Cruz when he announces for President.
