I recently saw Mediggo: The Omega Code II and it is toecurlingly bad. It is a painfull parody on Christian filmmaking and it is apparently one of the better ones.
I saw the timechanger and felt the same sense of abject horror, the sense that I had to claw my own eyes out only went away when the captain of the loveboat was on screen.
What is wrong, with the new Christian cinema!?

It's bad form to artificially beef up ones own thread like this, but I found the following review of Megiddo written in German by a non-believer extremely entertaining. So I do it anyway.

I warned you, it is written in that colourfull language German.
Still considering the huge amount of intelectuals that frequent this board I figured there must be at least 100 members here that could read it.
German is one of those tongues that seems to have been tailormade for writing in depth essays.

I don't know German, but one word in the article I DO understand: "Christploitation"

Their have been FEW good Christian movies. "Hiding Place" comes to mind, as does "Chariots of Fire". But the film reviewed -on that German site-comes from the folks at TBN. No wonder it's such TRIPE!

That's why I see -in regard to a poll about the dangers of the radical right and left- that I believe the greatest threat to the Church comes from these folks.
