    John 1:14, ". . . the Word was made flesh, . . ." was a change from not being flesh to being flesh. God is not flesh, John 4:24. Compare Luke 24:39.

    Does John 1:3 allow any exceptions for temporal acts of God? Compare Colossians 1:16-17.
