Yep. Problem is if you don't do the R&D, you can't get the next generation weapons.

We need to force the Pentagon to do a full, 3rd party audit. They've sa9id numerous times they can't account for trillions of dollars of funding.

Black projects. Can't have a secret generation of weapons if everyone knows about them.

So, that's the silver lining in the US building up the Communist Chinese economy. It has given the US military a legitimate reason to spend more money on R&D with more focus and direction.

Is that why Obama gutted US preparedness by decreasing spending and redirecting it to CRT and transgender "soldiers," and why Biden has the same agenda but also to re-include Russia? AFAF :Wink

The Pentagon itself doesn't know how a lot of its funding is spent. Then Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld said that on the day before 9/11 in a speech at the Pentagon. Then there's the fact that the U. S. spends by far the most of any country on defense, as much as the next highest 8 nations combined. Why?

They know how the money is spent. R or D, if their lips are moving, they are most likely telling lies.

The intelligence gleaned in the R&D of the Comanche RAH66 helicopter project referred to in the video was put to use in creating the stealth Black Hawk.
Also a key factor in the successful mission, raid, on Bin Laden years ago.
Therefore the Comanche was not a failed project.

The DDG 1000 Zumwalt-class guided-missile destroyers, also refered to in the video, are not a failed project either.

Anyone living in San Diego may have noticed this.

"Make no mistake about it, these three ships will be mainstays of a powerful maritime presence in the Western Pacific.”
RADM Paul Schlise, USN, Director, Surface Warfare (N96) at SNA 2021 Virtual Symposium

The self propelled XM2001 Crusader Howitzer (tank) was also not a failed project. The T&D gleaned from the project gave rise to the lighter deployable XM1203 NLOS-C.

That's all I care to debunk in the video.

Do you really think it's more important that Oman spends the most in terms of %GDP on their military than the fact that the U.S. spends 39% of what the WORLD spends on it?
Or the fact that we spend as much as the next 9 counties combined? I don't.

The people of Oman and other countries that spend so much of their nation's wealth on military may well disagree with your notion.

But certainly Trump is right that the US should not pay the way for other countries in NATO.

Quite frankly, those who oppose the US having a well-prepared military may well be considered enemies of the state. Communist China would surely applaud such.

Does a "well-prepared military" require that we spend 39% of the world's military spending, as much as the next 9 countries combined? Or 3 times as much as the country in second place (China)? We are wasting a hug amount of money that could be spent in much better ways e.g. rebuild our crumbling bridges, highways, water mains, et.

First, the US does not spend 39% of the world's military spending. The US military spending does not belong to the world.

Second, much of the world is anti-USA, so military preparedness becomes a necessity both as a sound deterrent and a crippling response to any aggressive nation.

Third, the US wastes huge amounts of money because of Dem policies, as exhibited in the supposed infrastructure bill proposed by the Dems.

Bottom line, Dem "thinking" on spending results in ridiculous waste. Thus, a Dem lecture on wasteful spending is merely more hypocrisy.

It actually does require that spending. We don't want to be in a position we win a war, but lose millions of our people in the process. I would rather spend the money on star wars than on some lard butt in the projects turning out babies for a living.

I'll be precise because you seem to have difficulty understanding plain English. Of the total amount the world spends on military, the U.S. spends 39%. Comprende?

That's an interesting way for a "Christian" to characterize another child of God.
