Why people believe in conspiracy theories

Excellent points Ken. There is no fanfare or recognition when a former "conspiracy theory" goes mainstream.

Forrest Sorrels was the Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas office of the Secret Service when JFK was assassinated.

He was riding in the lead car immediately in front of JFK's limo. Sorrels was adamant in his belief that some of the shots were fired from the direction of the grassy knoll.

Several other Secret Service agents in the area that day believed that shots were fired from the grassy knoll, and that there was a conspiracy involved.

I suppose it's just a "coincidence" that Jack Ruby, the man who shot Oswald, was involved in gun-running to the communist Castro regime for several years prior to the assassination.

One has to be pretty gullible to believe that Ruby killed Oswald out of "patriotism". Especially considering that Ruby was born and raised in Eastern Europe and was known to have socialist sympathies. He immigrated to the U.S., where he just "happened" to run a night club with known underworld connections.

Just because some conspiracy theories aren't realistic, doesn't mean they're all bunk. Examples of very real major conspiracies would be the Communist and Nazi conspiracies, the Thuggee cult in India, and La Cosa Nostra (the Mafia).

 

Oswald acted alone.

If you believe otherwise, prove it. No one else has been able to.

Like most conspiracy theories, yours is long on supposition and appeals to incredulity and short on facts.

I presented numerous verifiable facts in my previous post. You posted nothing but your own ignorant opinion.

I can't prove God exists, but that doesn't mean he doesn't. Your poor logic is apparent.

 

It's only "hearsay" to people like you who are ignorant of the facts surrounding the case.

It's not by job to do your research for you. You're just as capable of googling as anybody else.

 

The orthodox Jew Prager and the rest of the "conspiracies don't exist" crowd must be Holocaust deniers. Since they believe there is no such thing as conspiracies in world history, Prager & Friends must be denying that there was a conspiracy against the Jews that resulted in millions murdered.

I wonder how his fellow orthodox Jews would accept his "Prager Prattle" that there are no conspiracies.

 

All you posted was the opinions and beliefs of others. While it may be a fact that they believe something, their beliefs and opinions are no more fact than yours.

 

I posted the opinion of the Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Secret Service, who was in the car immediately in front of Kennedy's limo. I'll sure take the word of a highly respected government security agent who was there, over that of internet nobodies who weren't there.

Your beliefs and opinions are no more fact than theirs or mine. Since they were actually there when it happened, their beliefs and opinions would carry weight in a court of law, while yours would not.

 

Not nearly as dumb as your hypothesis that there is no such thing as conspiracies.
If you deny that there are conspiracies in the world, then you deny both the Holocaust and the Bible.

There was the Nazi conspiracy against the Jews, and there is the conspiracy of the anti-Christ.

So there are indeed invisible powers on earth. Satan was cast from Heaven to Earth.

Sorry, but I'll take the word of Christ and the Bible over you and Mr. Prager.

I have at least a third grade reading level, and I'm not sure what conspiracies are acceptable and which are not. It seems rather arbitrary to me.
