Why Support Israel?

    In light of this election where the American Jewish population overwhelmingly voted for a candidate who doesn't support (political) Israel, why should evangelicals continue their support?

    Just give me your best theological reasons (not political please.)

    Because to do so is honoring and obeying God. Whether others obey or not does not matter.

    I want to participate but the phrasing of your question does not leave me with an opportunity. I'm not to comment on political or economic support for Israel. That doesn't leave much else.

    I might as well rephrase your question:

    Why shouldn't evangelicals pray for Israel?
