Why the FBFI from Proclaim and Defend

The Founders Ministries of the southern Baptists is a push to return to the doctrinal principles of the 1845 "founders" of the SBC. The SBC leaders saw the failure of the Fundamentalist Fellowship of the NBC so enacted the Baptist Faith & Message strong doctrinal statement of fundamentals.

Interesting to see the old FBF (of which I was an active member) reinventing themselves in an eerily similar name Foundations Baptist Fellowship, but BOTH groups trying to return to the emphasis of the founders.

I would not be a part of the new FBF but have long been a part of the Founders Ministries since they are vastly stronger in trying to return to the doctrinal positions of the past. Look forward to seeing what the new FBF "up north" has become. THANK YOU for the links.
