The articel in the link gives information on the current plans and movement by the extreme left wing Dems to place the US under the control of the UN even by incrementation. IN this case they are going to push for the "UN Convention on the Rights of the Child". Give the article a careful read. This is an attack on this countries sovereignty and on traditional family values.

    Why should we fear Obama?

Fearing politicians is the way of the world, is it not? I disagree that we need fear any policitian, policy, or platform. If we fear a politician are we realy trusting God?

    Isaiah 8v11-14 .

    I "fear" no man.

Even referring to "fear" in the Biblical sense as respect, I certainly don't "fear" Obama.

But he is evil and bears watching.

This is just more fear-mongering by Revmitchell. If you read to the end of the article, you saw that the author was thoughtful enough to include the constitutional language regarding the ratification of treaties. It takes a 2/3 majority. That means 67 senators would have to approve it. In the current political environment, that hardly seems likely. The Rev and the article are suggesting that there is a likely possibility that all Democratic senators would vote for this treaty along with at least 8 Republicans. I think it is unlikely that all Democratic senators would vote for it.

I would like to suggest that we declare a moratorium on this kind of fear-mongering until we have something real to worry about. The inauguration will not take place for almost 5 weeks, so quit trying to mong me! Again! :BangHead:

You know Tim, you're not suppose to actually read the article. You're only suppose to take the good "Reverent" at his word when he posts something.

Thanks for taking the time to read the article and have a sound judgment.

Prove your false accusation or repent. You know I posted an article, I believe Obama is a problem but I directed it at no one. And because I posted an article about Obama I receive unnecessary and unfounded attacks.

No one knows what all the Senators are likely or unlikely to do. Such assertions do not make it past speculation at best. But the very idea that such support for anything of the sort should draw concern at some level. Unless you just cannot stand any amount of criticism about Obama. So let's just work to silence critics of Obama by calling for moratoriums since we all know that liberals are so very tolerant. Tolerant of all views, even those they oppose, or so they insist everyone else should be.

    No

The way you post thread after thread of half thought through articles, I will not prove anything or repent.

If you want to see this discussed why don't you prop up the article you posted instead of playing the pass the buck game...

What Tim posted is very clear and true. People like yourself are stating what Obama will and won't do and he hasn't even taken office yet.

Until he is the POTUS, you can only GUESS or ASSUME what he will or won't do.

Then you continue to hold on to your false witness.

No, it's called an opinion.. You know what those are because you have had plenty of them over the last month.

Do you have anything to add to this thread that would prop up your opinion and this article?

Calling it an opinion is a cop out. You stated:

I stated very clearly in the op to read it carefully. You made a false accusation. I have now proven it to be false.

If you disagree, you are attacking and need to repent for disagreeing with the oracle of God. If you have your own opinion, it is rebellion and false witness. I guess it's a bit different than pontificating from a pulpit, when people actually challenge absurd statements.

You call it whatever you want... I call it the way I see it. Period.

Yeah, now who is "coping out" You cram your fearful articles down people's throat every day even though Obama isn't in office yet... and even after that is said, it would take a 2/3 vote like Tim said to pass this, which isn't likely...

I made no false accusation, I stated my opinion of you just like I see it. Nothing new, and nothing false. You have continued to post crap like this for over a month since Obama won, and you want people to buy it hook, line and sinker... it's not going to happen.
