Wife of one of our pastors has passed away

    Our other campus pastor (my husband is one also)'s wife passed away last night. Cheryl was an amazing woman who served in ministry with her husband for many years and was our worship leader for many of them as well. She had the gift of encouragement and the voice of an angel. Please pray for her husband Pete, their kids Doug and Janette and the rest of the family and friends. The funeral will be tomorrow and I'm sure will be a very large service.

    Here's a photo of Pete and Cheryl from a year ago - just before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was just 59 when she passed away.

    Such a sad situation.

    Lord, we are praying for Cheryl's husband, Pete and their precious children at this time.
    We pray that You will comfort and heal their sorrowing/torn hearts at this time. We know that You are feeling their pain with them. In the name of Jesus. AMEN
