It's not really old news as much as it is ignored news.

The most expensive welfare program in the country currently is the "earned income credit".

Obama does , indeed, intend to use changes in the tax code as part of an even more expansive and expensive welfare program.

He has made that clear. His supporters just skim over it and the media doesn't report it.

I will be the first to admit that if I pay more taxes then I will have to clean my own house and do my own lawn care. I know they are not full time positions but I am sure that I am not the only one that will have to do that.

Sounds like sacrifices will have to be made one in all. A little yard work will be good for ya and imagine how patriotic you'll feel paying more taxes...

You know this was just sarcasm...

He planned to deliver on every promise then the economy took a nose dive. Couldn't help that but he is wise enough to know his plan had to change.

We don't need an experienced leader or a proven leader. We need a wise leader.

Actually, he broke his campaign finance promise way before this crisis.

I don't need a leader. I need someone to get government out of our lives.

    Not really.

You inadvertantly have put your tongue to prohecy.

Obama's tax plans aloso include a huge increase in the marginal tax rates of those that only earn $40,000 per year.

A second job may indeed be necessary for many middle class workers.

That is not true. According to Senator Obama's tax plans one has to earn over $250,000 to see an increase in taxes.

I'm so sorry you have been deceived, but facts are facts.

You can run but you can't hide. Obama is a liar.

Obama will be a taxing machine if he ever gets started.

You made the claim - back it up. I doubt that you can. You might not even try.

Being blinded by your devotion to the deceiver keeps you from investigating the effects of his proposals.

Much of his tax plan involves expanding tax credits for those that already pay no taxes. That's welfare.

However, if any of those people ever reach the $40,000 plateau, they start losing those tax credits causing a huge increase in their marginal tax rates, a disincentive to work harder or take a job making more money.

    Welfare slavery is back.

When you say deceived, are you talking about McCain or Obama? It is good to be more precise in this election.
