Or. . . has it already done so?

Every time I turn around there is more news of the SBC turning Left, and I am saddened by what I see. TGC and ERLC have influenced a complete generation with a Leftist political agenda while many conservative Baptists have stood silently by.

Can Conservatives regain actual control of the denomination and the ERLC?

Agree. It started when the SBC went on the racism apology tour and has been downhill from there.

This is from the Baptist Bulletin (GARBC) in the July/Aug issue.

"We...acknowledge the sin of excluding brethren because of their race, and express our sincerest regret for the offense those so treated, including those who formed the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association." This resolution was based by the voting messengers in 1996 at the annual meeting.

This article was written by David Gunn, managing editor of the Bap Bulletin and director of Regular Baptist Press.

I tried to find the link - but was unable - if anyone can do so, I would appreciate it.

They can, but the problem is that the ones to shift them right way again would be the new calvinists in the SBC, and the others there would not like that!

The calvinists are the proponents for this "social justice."

I too am puzzled by JesusFan/DaChaser1/Yeshua1's pronouncement that:
since TGC is led by 'new Calvinists' of the SBC, and TGC council member Russell Moore also runs the ERLC.

My mistake,as thought that Dr Mohler was big in the SBC, and know that he does not advocate for this!

I did not think those such as Dr Mohler though would agree with social justice as liberals describe it as being!
