So Obama got whipped in the debate, but Socialism didn't.

Obama has nothing, and it takes a truly extraordinary individual to maintain lies and deceit when faced with the facts. Romney had the facts, but he is still a very weak candidate, and a poor statesman. That he won the debate shows how absolutely unqualified, untruthful and inept is Obama, and how destitute is the Democrat Party.

None of the issues debated, other than defense and taxes, should be an issue for the office of President. Romney still brings a big government, and his promise to "work with" Democrats only assures the course correction will be minimal.

It was still satisfying to see the floor mopped with that stammering poser, but the local elections, and the men we send to the House and Senate will be the salvation of this nation. We still have a long way to go, and it's going to be tough row to hoe.

One good thing came from Obama's election. It awakened the sleeping conservative giant of the people. Maybe we should give Obama another term to keep them awake.

I agree with your post. IMO Obama will win a narrow electoral victory, despite the debate. The only positive thing I see coming out of it is to jolt the Republicans to start picking decent candidates in 2016, unlike McCain and Romney. It has been a long time since 1984. Although Romney will carry this state, there is no interest in the race in general. There are very few signs on either side. The number one issue here is merging the city and county.

You are right. Romney is a very weak candidate. The fact that Obama has a chance of winning testifies to that fact.
