You have not read one of my posts. No, I do not gamble and no I do not drink. Neither do I mindlessly memorize a set of manmade rules and obey them under my own power. Do you have a clue as to what being a Pharisee means?

My senior pastor has asked that the staff not partake so we will abstain. We also have worked extensively with the college aged kids (and have one of our own) and they struggle enough with alcohol and for their sake, we will not drink to show them that you can live without alcohol.

What we drink on Thanksgiving instead is the Martinelli's sparkling cider. I especially love the cranberry. :)

Sparkling cider is the best drink ever! Got to try some at my cousin's wedding earlier this year.

It really is great, isn't it? This brand comes in regular, cranberry apple, and grape. I love the grape but am recently into the cranberry apple so I picked up two today and I'll pick up 2 of the grape during the week. :)
