Wilson funds reach $1 million

    U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson -- the South Carolina Republican who heckled President Obama during his speech to a joint session of Congress -- has raised at least $1 million in contributions, a campaign aide confirmed.
    Rep. Joe Wilson, R-South Carolina, shouts "You lie!" during President Obama's speech Wednesday night.

    News of that cash haul comes after Wilson directly asked in a Web video for campaign cash to fend off attacks from political opponents and said he's standing by his opposition to Democratic efforts at health care reform.

    I'm going to play the prophet and make a prediction right now, we are going to see more outbursts by Republicans against Obama's healthcare plan. :laugh:

    Yes, I hope that shows the conservatives in Congress that the people are with them, and that they stop listening to the advice of them Dem Socialists on how to preserve and maintain the Republican Party.
