Although that hasn't be included yet, I, for one, was operating under that assumption. However, it is good to put it out there in black and white.

I am with you. Many lives has been changed and greatly enhanced by their writings. In my discussion with some elderly people in the SBC I tend to think those men have had a profound affect on the lives of so many. I am challenged by their devotion to Christ and their commitment to study the word.

If one has ever had the privilege of reading the works of men such as Broadus and Robertson you can't help but come away with new vision and dedication to Jesus with an unshakable boldness.

But...but...as I was chided here recently, "Robertson was an Amillenialist." [IMG]

While IMO it is wrong, I don't think it is "bad" in the sense of heretical.

Recently in BB I referred to Robertson as one who valued Greek and was told that "So what, he's an amillenarian."

If one looks at the historic SBC leaders, many of them were of the "amil" persuasion.

Many of those who preceded them such as B.H. Carroll (the first president of SWBTS) were post mil. Quite a history of the SBC having supported slavery and being post mil.
