    646 lbs catfish caught in Thailand is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest freshwater fish ever caught.

    My goodness thats a big un'! It says it was eaten in a remote village........I bet that was a big fish fry and fed the whole village! (of course all the villagers probley had to pitch in by bringing thier fry pans to help cook it. ;) I bet it took alot of muscle and some doing to land that cat then to clean it and cut it up.

    It's been said that there is a catfish that lives in the depths of the Mississippi River that has a span between its eyes the same as that of a car.

    And just to think that I have swam in that river: I could have been another Jonah! :eek:
