    Brzezinski and Charlie Wilson's War

Or how we've created armed trained and enabled our own enemies.

This article is like a short history lesson for all the folks who believe military adventurism and pre emptive interventions are going to save us all. Bill O'Rielly is excused from todays lesson as he and his viewers don't need no steenking history lessons. Big brother's word alone is good enough for them.

Unfortunately, over the years we've never taken to heart and practice the warning and admonition of Geroge Washington.

"The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is, in extending our commercial relations to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements let them be fufilled with perfect good faith. Here let us stop." Washington's Farwell Address

I just saw Charlie Wilson's War yesterday. (Lots of nudity, wouldn't recommend it for that reason.) The plot was captivating though. Supposedly, it's a true story.
