This week I received a letter from the local school district - sent to all local pastors.

The school said that due to "conditions beyond our control", we must move our graduation (Jun 2010) to a Sunday.

    What would you do?

Our local high school has always had graduation on Sunday afternoon. Usually starts about 1 or 2, and is over by 5. Doesn't interfere with am or pm church services, so I see no problem with it.

Same here. Graduation is at 1PM on Sunday so we go to the first service and then go to the graduation when we have one graduating. We'll be doing it again this year.

Call the school for more details.

I am amazed the school sent letters to pastors in the first place. It is a courtesy that they simply didn't have to do.

    peace to you:praying:

Contact the school (or the superintendent or whoever it would be who is in charge) and suggest that they not start before 1PM (or whatever time it needs to be) so that it does not interfere with the church services.
