No I would not. I don't think it is a movie that needs to be made. I believe although this is a real issue that this borders on child pornography. There is no good reason to show the rape scene or show this little girl naked.

This is one real life issue that doesn't need to be brought to life on the big screen. I will definetly not be seeing this or any other movie of it's nature.

All her (Dakota) mom sees is a vehicle to an oscar. But, at what price? I give the mom 2 thumbs down.

And people wonder why child stars have so much trouble in life...

The mother and agent should be ashamed of themselves!

Where is the Dad? Surely one of the two parents that produced this child can see the harm and the price of fame. What on earth are these people thinking? The damage to self image has got to be tremendous.

I thought that kind of thing was illegal? Can the studio and parents be investigated or prosecuted?

    I will not watch that.

Very disturbing indeed. No, I wouldn't go see the movie. I think there should seriously be an investigation into child abuse in this case. The mother should be examined to see if there is any grey matter upstairs and whether or not she has any compassion for her daughter. The father (wherever he is) isn't a real father or he wouldn't stand for this outrageous endeavor, but it just goes to show you how much the love of money controls the American public.

Everyone in this gutter film should be arrested. Every church in the USA should make a public, spirited outcry. The American Center for Law and Justice should be asked to file lawsuits. :tear:

...and NO, I won't go to see it.

I will not see it so my money will not be used to support such a movie

Yes the issue to be addressed but not at the expense of any young woman or man. There is no need for explicit scenes, the story can be told with out them

Shame on Hollywood and her parents

Does it have a happy ending?
Brooke Shields and Jodie Foster weren't too messed up.

They're not actually raping the girl - it's a movie on how she survives and comes to terms with it (according to the article).

Not what was said during an interview.

Stoning should be brought back. IMHO, this kind of evil deserves harsh punishment.

No matter what the subject matter, no one should be viewing the naked body of a child as entertainment.

I agree that serious child pornography charges should be brought against those involved.

Even if this film didn't involve nudity of a child, this is not subject matter that I would be interested in viewing.

Could be that the nudity is as prurient as that of "Schindler's List" (but I don't know). Quite often these things sound worse in the tabloids than they actually are and, often, they are just as bad.

I'm just not jumping on the bandwagon of condemnation without knowing what it really is.
