8th US Circuit Court rules against state funding for Charles Colson's ministry in Iowa, and that it must stop, citing separation of Church & State.

    Yet Another Blow . . .

Sadly, this ruling (which I agree with) may lead to the banning of any Christian ministry in prisons, because there are always some government funds being spent inside the prison, no matter what the activity is. Is the next step stopping Bible studies in which the teacher is fully funded by a local church, but government funding of the corrections facility staff to watch over the attendees is deemed unconstitutional? Or that they can't use any government-provided building?

Pray hard for wisdom for those who conduct any Christian ministry in any prison in the USA. The Enemy is making plenty of headway in our courts!
