    Is there any vestige of "Christian" left in these organizations?

    Back in the 1970's when I had an active membership at our local "Y", there was no appearance of anything christian or religious about the organization. It was just a fun place to go and take swimming lessons and play in sports leagues.

    I'm kinda stumped here. In one thread, we read post after post about how godless America is, and then in another post I'll read about how people and groups who identify themselves as Christian aren't Christian enough. Is it possible that we are the ones who are stomping on Christ's hands by complaining about nail polish??

    I guess my reply to Johnv is that we are not the United Christian States of America, nor claim to be. The YW CHRISTIAN A takes the name Christian and so must be held to a different standard.

    It does make you wonder if the word Christian is copyrighted.....
