You say there is no racism?

Is that why people with African-American names are not responded to as often, 50% less often, that whites on resumes they sent in?

Is that why car dealers make them pay more or they will not sell them automobiles?

Is that why realtors do not show them as many homes?

We are not talking just about arrests here. We are talking other areas of life.

I will give you a note put on one of the social networks by one of my cousins. I will reword the note as I think if I posted it exactly as she wrote it you could trace her. I don't want that to happen. She is a few years younger than I.



She picked up a friend and drove less than 20 miles. She was stopped numerous times by State Police. No charges were given. No tickets were given. No warnings were given. They were just checking. Happens she is white and her friend was a black man. She lives in a state is not considered one of the more racist states. Stopped on an average of less than 4 miles per stop.

Go figure.
