Do you think it is OK to hurl baseless accusations in life or do you think that one who hurls accusations should feel compelled to support them?

Don't we baptists believe in supporting arguments since some of our forefathers were martyred by those who accused them senselessly of various heresies?

Here is the way I think accusations ought go:

"Some people follow Calvin more than they follow God AND I BASE THAT ON THE FOLLOWING QUOTES..."

    Here is another example:

"You are a troll AND I BASE THAT ON THE FOLLOWING QUOTES..."

    And...

"You are an open theist AND I BASE THAT ON THE FOLLOWING QUOTES..."

    What do you think?

Do you think all accusations ought to be supported? If so, click "agree".

I've tried to get this to work and it didn't. I just wish that people would act like brothers and sisters in Christ that they profess to be. Back in the old days when an allegation was brought against a brother or sister it required scriptural proof, I guess that doesn't exist any more.
