…curious to know if there are any pastors/superintendents/education directors that can
comment on how to implement a Sunday School program from Nursery to High school:
    Topics can include :
    - curriculum (learning about God from His word, not just learning the same old stories from the Bible)

    -training the teachers

    - parent involvement

    - just about anything else related to getting the Word into the kids and the kids into the Word.

    I'll start:
    1) even from the earliest ages the teaching should come from the Bible, with age appropriate materials, approaches included. Get them to learn we stud y the Word not some publisher's book.
    2) Unified curriculum, same lessons for all classes just at different levels. This helps the parents stay involved as their children of different ages all studied the same thing.
    3) Hopefully the pastor is doing his job (Eph. 4) to equip the saints for the work of the ministry (including teaching)
    4) Much prayer for adult male involvement in the youth department. in our church it's almost non-existent.
