This second image, below, are the results of Zogby asking "who would you vote for, Bush or person x". Interestingly, people still hate Kerry. The lesson there: Don't stand for anything and you won't win.

Bush still can use fear to keep his chin above
water , War on Terror still has him at 52%.

Some would argue that its the price of gas that
is putting Bush in historic territory.

Still not enough votes to see a trend yet
surprised that Bush(41) is behind the son it may
be because the son is perceived as more evangelical.

It seems that Reagan is missed and beloved.

For reasons of morality I could not support the following in your list:

    Bill Clinton
    John Kerry
    Jimmy Carter

Still I would vote for Reagan any day of the week.

George W Bush, like Carter, will not be viewed as one of histories better presidents. He had more chances than Carter to be great but, for whatever reason, he has not taken advantage of that. One of my theories is that he has surrounded himself with "yes men", which is never a good idea.

    Martin.

The verdict is the Bush Family and Reagan over all Democrats always. It is a matter of decent people over those who stand on a platform of pro-choice and same-sex marriage/cultural diversity.

That was one of Reagans better qualities, was to pick qualified people for cabinet positions.Karl Rove had been an asset to the Bush campaign but has hurt the image of this administration.

Do you actually believe that's what Carter stood for? Go back and read history not your Republican propaganda.

Cultural diversity is what America stands for..

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

    You don't accept that? Who's anti-American?

    Carter on abortion:

What about abortion? How would you speak to moderate evangelicals who withhold support for Democratic candidates on that single issue?

    Carter
This was an issue that I had to face when I was campaigning 25 years ago. I have always been against abortion; it’s not possible for me in my own concept of Christ to believe that Jesus would favor abortion

You might want to include that entire quote. Not just the part you want folks to read.

By the way, Bush has INCREASED funding for abortion. I'd rather look at what a man does than what he claims he will do during a campaign.

Bush also appointed an abortion supporter as AG, and now it appears he will nominate him for a Supreme Court vacancy.

What a turnaround the father has picked up a block of votes since last update...?Are people
wanting the son to lean towards the fathers style
of Presidency with people who speak unvarnished
    truth to power?
