Polls are a good way to see trends among the participants. Therefore, whoever has the ability to do polls, can you do more of them?

Some polls I would like to see appear in this forum.

    Poll: Independent Baptist Groups
Q: Do you consider yourself a
    United Baptist
    Old Regular
    Regular
    etc.
    etc.
    etc.

Poll: IBF vs National Baptist Group
Q: Do you consider yourself a
    Independent Baptist Fellowship
    Southern Baptist
    General Association of Regular Baptist
    American Baptist
    Freewill Baptist
    etc.
    etc.
    etc.

    Poll: Bible Study Technique
Q: How do you go about doing personal Bible study?
    Follow devotional guide
    Read the Bible through--single path
Read the Bible through--multiple paths, such as Psalms, OT, NT, Gospel
    Subject lookup
    Jump around
    etc.
    etc.
    etc.

    Poll: Commentary Reading
Q: How often do you read Bible commentaries?
    Daily
    2-3 times per week
    Once per week
    2-3 times per month
    Once per month
    2-3 times per year
    Never

    Poll: Commentaries vs. Study Bibles
Q: Do you prefer to supplement your Bible reading with commentaries or notes in Study Bibles?

    Poll: Word Studies
Q: Do you ever do word studies of specific words in the Bible?

    Poll: Word Study Technique
Q: How do you go about doing word studies of specific words in the Bible?

Do others have suggestions for polls in this forum?

When making a post, go to near the bottom of the page, and under "Additional Options" check "post a poll"....

Polls are interesting, but if one is going to do more than the very occasional poll, there is a forum for "Polls Only" and that is where they should be posted instead of flooding the other forums with polls.

THANK YOU for re-emphasizing the BB rule - only rarely will be allow a poll to "stay" in the General, Theology or Versions forums. We just had one rather ineffective one in the Theology that tied to a previously-closed topic, so allowed it to stand.

Visit the "Polls" Forum (it's for Irish, Spanish and Chinese as well) :saint:

The occasional poll is not bad especially when linked to a subject. But, it seems that they can multiply very rapidly in the wrong places.
