My battery was running low in my watch (the second hand jumps at 5 second intervals to let me know) so I stopped by to get it changed. I was informed that the procedure is to send it off, and it takes 6 to 8 weeks (the watch is resealed so as to be waterproof after opening the back) and costs $180.

One hundred eighty bucks to change a watch battery???!!!!!

Things they don't tell you up front...:(

Wow. Must be some special watch. The battery is probably only $5.

Were it me; I would open it, change it, then silicone-seal it myself.

(I assume no responsibility if you take this as advice, try it, and ruin a $10k watch. Laugh)
