I agree....Therefore everyone who rejects the gospel is self-righteous....That's why Christ states that He didn't come to call the righteous, but sinners....The self-righteous tend to reject their need of Christ.

No, Paul's warning are there for a reason and that's to encourage believers not to be "harden by the deceitfulness of sin". Stop kidding yourself!

Paul kept the faith until the end. He walked in the Spirit...he kept his faith in Christ firm until the end of this life.

Everyone is born self-righteous. It is the nature of our human condition.

The nature of being in Christ is to be crucified with Christ. (Galatians 2:20)

See my first point. All humans are sinners. Sinners are born self-righteous. Self-righteous don't "tend" to reject Christ, they always are in rebellion to God. Always.

...because God's Spirit had sealed him as an adopted child of God's.

That infers that God breaks the will....

Were Paul's warnings not warnings at all? Was he teasing us? You tell me,

It merely states that God's Spirit seals us who are saved.
Paul never warns Christians that they could lose their salvation. That is your interpretation, out of context. That's on you, not God.

Yes, because we are born self-centered and egocentric. At that state we didn't look at ourselves as wretched sinners....

That's the function of God's law - to reveal to us we are sinners in need of Christ.

Who cares how we view ourselves?
The question is: How does God view us? The answer is: There is none righteous, not even one.

Yes, let's look at the context by all means:

Heb 3:1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession; 2 He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house...

Who if Paul writing to? Right, his fellow believers. That's the context of Hebrews chapter 3

Verse 12 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you (i.e., brethren) with an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end,

Yes, we must preserver....We must finish the race - we must keep the faith throughout our life. We do that by remaining rooted and grounded in the gospel and by constant distrust of our old, Adamic natures. In other words, "not I, but Christ"

Col 1:21 "you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in Himself— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Our only safety is in constant distrust of self, and dependence on Christ.

We will persevere, we will finish the race, we have been given the gift of faith and God does not take his gift away. God keeps us rooted because he will "never leave us nor forsake us."
    We are in Christ.

It's funny how you take a verse and twist it so that it goes against the entire passage where Paul teaches assurance of salvation.

    Colossians 1:9-23,27
[9]So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.
[10]Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
[11]We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,
[12]always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.
[13]For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,
[14]who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.
[15]Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
[16]for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
[17]He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
[18]Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.
[19]For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ,
[20]and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
[21]This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions.
[22]Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
[23]But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.
[27]For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.

No, Christ will not be the one to forsake us, but we can through "the deceitfulness of sin" abandon Him. This is called premeditated apostasy. That's why the Bible is full of warnings - which you reject wholesale.

Those who reject these warning are self-sufficient. They see no need to heed the warnings and when trouble comes their way they will be the first to abandon Christ.

This is paraphrased Bible and a poor one at that.....It's terrible and you should be ashamed to quote from it. You are not holy and blameless as you stand before God without a single fault. You are a wretched sinner, saved by grace, through Christ doing and dying. In Him your "new creation" is blameless, but not you the individual.

If you are going to quote use a good translation.

You have the assurance of salvation as long as you keep your faith in Christ....You just don't get it.

Not "we", but "some" have been given the gift of faith.

So...some Christians are given the gift of faith, but not others? Strange teaching since Ephesians 2:8-9 says otherwise.

But, you are talking about what degree has been gifted above and beyond salvation and then imagining that only a portion receive faith. That's like saying that only a portion of Christians have the ability to show mercy while ignoring that some are better at it than others.

    You're getting desperate.

Our only safety is God's grace and God's grace alone.

You constantly want to be in control and save yourself by works. It's a Galatians false teaching that you present.

I get it. You add works to salvation and throw away grace...just like the false teachers in the letter to the Galatians.
