There's no hope for any of us without Jesus Christ. None of us are inherently trustworthy outside Him because we're otherwise all liars and followers of the greatest liar ever.

Islam doesn't get a pass on this!

What you need to understand - and you clearly don't - is that Islam preaches not only lies but ultimately the killing of all non-believers of Islam. You can think you have some really nice Muslim friends but in their hearts they know what their religion calls for them to do and given the right time and place and leadership they'll be faced with doing it.

God warned the Israelites against living among the pagans of their time. They ignored Him and did what their human judgment thought best. It cost them dearly.

We're not Israel and times are different but people and God are still the same. We're fools if we think we can encourage the growth of Islam in our land without suffering the consequences of it.

I'm standing by my position that all Christians need to wise up to what's happening amongst us and do whatever we can to stop the growth of Islam especially here in our nation. We'd better not be fooled by the "moderates" among them and the purveyors of "diversity" among us.

Call it what it is and be wary of it because Ft. Hood will come to your neighborhood.

Dude, I asked you a simple question: Do you abide by all the laws of our nation?

You won't answer that question, will you?

Instead, you keep on twisting what I asked you, so that you can stay on the track you want to be.

Where, exactly, did I misquote you?

If you can point to any place where I have, I'll apologize. If you can only point to a place where I announced that I was rearranging your words in order to make a point...well, you're the one that's in error.

I said, and I quote: I'm not trying to trip you up. Don't see how that's "over-rating" myself, if I'm not even trying to do it. It's your evasiveness, your refusal to directly answer a direct question that's at issue here.

In other words, you won't directly answer a direct question.

    That's a quite telling admission.

    Guess we're done here.

Wow. These people just don't get it, do they?
How can they say this is supposed to be a place of tolerance, when they're obviously not being tolerant of the views, opinions, and emotions of the majority?

It's a pretty stupid question. One obviously meant to entrap or make a point. Dragoon has long been onto those types of intellectually dishonest efforts.

If you have something to say. Just say it and quit playing games.

Many of us here have no patience with apologists for Islam.

Wow, did you totally miss the point.

I make no apologies for islam. As I've stated before, I agree that islam is a false religion. Sorry you missed that the multiple times I've previously stated it. Would you consider apologizing for misrepresenting me?

My point for Dragoon is that individuals do not necessarily follow all the precepts; for which my "stupid question" was meant to show as an example that we--you, me, EWF, Dragoon, etc.--don't necessarily follow all the laws of our country at all times. So why do we expect every single person of another country or religion to do so at all times?

BTW: you're obviously not actually reading the exchange between us, because I have said this before.

Get over it, Don! You don't get to decide how I answer your questions. You get to decide how you ask them. Here's some advice: If you ask questions along the line of "Are you still beating your wife?" you're probably not going to get the kind of response that will let you make the statement you intended by your question.

You know exactly where and how you misquoted me. I pointed it out to you. I didn't ask you to apologize for it because I didn't take it as an offense. I don't need your apology to make through the day. I just politely asked you not to do it because it could be misunderstood by someone else. Instead of being a man about it - a gentleman - you snapped back that anyone who didn't understand what you'd done was stupid. Now, in continued and escalated stubbornness, you're trying to make it in to something else. Forget about it! I couldn't take it seriously now anyway.

You tripped the trigger when you started your "do you or do you not" line! I'm not on the witness stand here. You're not the prosecutor. You're not the judge.

I'm about as evasive as a bullet in flight, buddy, and most everyone around here knows that. You've been given answers - you just don't like them.

I just don't let hotshots push me around with their pointed questions as if I'm their subordinates.

No, it's not "in other words" - it's exactly what I said. You don't get to tell me how to answer anyone's questions. That's the lesson you need learn here.

I'm not done yet - unless the moderators cut me off - but you can stop if you'd like.

GROUND ZERO MOSQUE IMAM FEISAL'S EXTREMISM EXPOSED

Here, for those of you who've been deceived, is your moderate trustworthy Islamic role model.

I say Islam is one of the greatest threats we face in America and certainly is a danger to Christians around the world.

You know what, Don, you sound just like the liberal parrots in Washington do! Everything becomes a "race" issue. Oh, those poor innocent Muslims are being picked on just like the blacks were. It's pure baloney!

What we have here is a President that invites a bunch of Muslims over to celebrate their favorite pagan feast. He pals around with them and agrees to lend them the influence of his office. So he comes out in support of building the controversial mosque. Of course, that's not the same a supporting the construction of a church - that would be a no-no in liberal land. Then we find out that Obama's favorite mosque honcho in being funded by the State Dept. as part of the goal of improving Muslim relations - which would be another no-no if it based on any other religion. But since this is also the main goal of NASA today it's all okay with the friends of Islam wannabe's in the White House knowing they'll be among the last to experience the cutting edge of the knife on their necks. Then comes all the cries for religious freedom in America as if it were being suddenly curtailed - that's been happening for decades to Christians and no one was using the federal government to stop the mosque's constructions. They just wanted to use the President's influence to make sure the local boys at the Port Authority made the right zoning decisions. Wake up America!

From "Obama and the Muslims" by Conrad Black published August 20, 2010 in National Review:

"In the U.S., meanwhile, the insipid and mindless appeasement of the Muslims continues. In his “official statement on the occasion of Ramadan,” Mr. Obama praised “Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings . . . (its) great diversity and racial equality” and “American Muslims’ . . . extraordinary contributions to our country.” In fact, Islam has done nothing to advance justice or any version of progress or tolerance, and Obama, like Condoleezza Rice, is regularly denounced by the official outlets of leading Muslim countries in ethnic slurs that would embarrass Bull Connor and Lester Maddox. The ambitious Islamic genocidal initiative in the Sudan has earned that country’s president a historical apprenticeship to Hitler, as well as an International Court of Justice indictment as a mass murderer."

Right on target, Mr. Black, and delivered without apology necessary.

Muslims aren't pagans. Paganism is polytheistic.

Since when have the religious freedoms of Christians been curtailed? You seem to have a persecution complex.

Oh, I'm must have gotten it confused with "peaceful" religion or something like that - I dont' think so my book learned friend! I like this definition better:

"It is primarily used in a historical context, referring to Greco-Roman polytheism as well as the polytheistic traditions of Europe before Christianization. In a wider sense, extended to contemporary religions, it includes most of the Eastern religions, and the indigenous traditions of the Americas, Central Asia, Australia and Africa, as well as non-Abrahamic folk religion in general. More narrow definitions will not include any of the world religions and restrict the term to local or rural currents not organized as civil religions. Characteristic of pagan traditions is the absence of proselytism and the presence of a living mythology, which explains religious practice."

Don't be fooled by Islam young man. It will bite you regardless what category you want to put it in.

You seem to have a knack for jumping on people right out the box. Maybe you haven't noticed the change because you haven't been around long enough to have a point of reference.

Don't become the object of persecution later in your life if God let's you live as long as He has me. Then you find you and your descendants having their jugular veins tested against the knives of your friendly local Muslim law enforcer.

Don't worry. I'm in no danger of converting to Islam. I believe it is a false religion.

Most Americans, including myself, would do every moral thing necessary to prevent that. However, I have no reason to believe that is even a remote possibility.

That's wonderful but you may find yourself persecuted for it.

Well, you sleep sounding while you can and, hopefully, someone else will work on the problem for you.

Maybe God will protect me. I've known a fair number of Muslims in high school because my area has a lot of Muslim immigrants from Bosnia and Albania. I've always treated them like I would anyone else, not as second-class citizens.
