In the minds of liberals, flag burning or even Bible burning is "freedom of speech" but Koran burning, on the other hand, is hateful and even merits Presidential interference. Foolish thinking!

No it isn't that simple. Islam is not only a religion but a political agenda. One who's goal is to take over the world.

    WATCH THIS

Americans are so naive to think that Islam is just a peaceful religion. Islam has already practically taken over Europe.

So would you have America deprive Muslims of their right to worship their god in America?

What do you mean by Muslim? Moderate or Extreem? Oh that's right.....now I'm nitpicking! The door on front may say "moderate peaceful" but I tell you sir the ones following closely behind are far more serious about the Kohran......deadly serious.

I mean Muslim. Should they be denied their right to worship their god in the land of the free and the home of the brave? Anyone who commits criminal acts should be prosecuted, no matter what their religion.

This inclination to want to deprive others of their rights scares me. If their lose their right, who is to say that Christians are not next - perhaps starting with 'extreme Christians' like most of us who post here?

A person can worship anywhere. But yes, I would be all for depriving them of building their mosques. They are nothing more than meeting places for their political agendas. The Greek Orthodox church that was destroyed by the 9/11 attacks has been denied the right to rebuild so why should the Muslims be allowed to build their pagan worship temple in the same area?

Like the guy "Islams spiritual leader" telling Americans if you move the mosque away from ground zero there will be a price to pay? Hello!

If this is the case be ready for the the prohibition of churches who don't 'fall into line.'

Are you honestly telling me that conservative US churches are not used to further political agendas?

A lack of tolerance goes in both directions.

So we should use him as the model for American liberty?

We're not talking about 1 or 2 nuts of a particular religion committing criminal acts. A true Muslim will follow their "holy" book and do whatever it takes to stamp out the infidel just as their book commands. Their goal is to take over the world. Don't stick your head in the sand.

Christians are already being deprived of their rights. Where have you been? If someone wants to burn bibles, it doesn't even make the news, but try to burn the Quaran and it's global fear. Obama saying that burning the Quaran will put us in danger is admitting what a violent and political religion Islam is.

Its late here - I am off to bed.

I am deeply concerned that true American patriots who love their country are so willing to violate all that America was built on on the altar of expediency. American is great because she is free. When she ceases to be free she will cease to be great.

Americans have stood head and shoulders above other nations precisely because we have always protected the rights of other Americans even when they disagree with us.

If we are not willing to be tolerant of those with differing views we might as well give the nation to militant islamists, because they will have already won.

If so, they are misusing their church, but I don't recall their "political agendas" involving the killing of anyone of another religion the way that Islam does. No comparison.

Bingo! Islam is VERY MILITANT and who wants a militant religion pushing us around like the crusades? They see this mosque built next to ground zero as a conquering victory! This isn't some JW's, Mormons or Buddhist temple....apples and oranges.

"Obama saying that burning the Quaran will put us in danger is admitting what a violent and political religion Islam is. "

This is the whole point of the burning of the Korans. The plan to burn brought death threats to Obama and the military. Does that not show us something about the run of the mill partakers of Islam in the street burning our flag?

There are 2 million Muslims in the country. 2% of the population is crazy. That means there are 40,000 crazy Muslims in the country. Muslims are no more scarier than Catholics.

There are thousands of mosques in America and no one interferes with them. Moslems worship as they see fit so you could probably relax.

Local zoning boards in NYC will not even allow any Wal-Mart to be built in the city, so it would be well within their authority to reject this mosque. Regardless of what Pres Obama thinks on the subject. Most people in the US consider the proposed Cordoba House to be a deliberate insult, for obvious reasons.

Let's see... I'm a liberal and I'm not an atheist... I guess foolish statements are called that for a reason.
