    The ‘We-Hate-Putin’ Group Think

    Who Were the Snipers?

There is also new evidence suggesting that the sniper shootings in Kiev — a pivotal moment in the uprising to overthrow President Viktor Yanukovych — may have been the work of neo-Nazi provocateurs trying to foment a coup, not the police trying to stop one.

According to an intercepted phone conversation between Estonia’s Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and European Union foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton, Paet reported on a conversation that he had with a doctor in Kiev who said the sniper fire that killed protesters was the same that killed police officers. As reported by the UK Guardian, “During the conversation, Paet quoted a woman named Olga – who the Russian media identified her as Olga Bogomolets, a doctor – blaming snipers from the opposition shooting the protesters.”

Paet said, “What was quite disturbing, this same Olga told that, well, all the evidence shows that people who were killed by snipers from both sides, among policemen and people from the streets, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides.

“So she also showed me some photos, she said that as medical doctor, she can say it is the same handwriting, the same type of bullets, and it’s really disturbing that now the new coalition, that they don’t want to investigate what exactly happened. … So there is a stronger and stronger understanding that behind snipers it was not Yanukovych, it was somebody from the new coalition.”

Ashton replied: “I think we do want to investigate. I didn’t pick that up, that’s interesting. Gosh.”

However, the sniper fire has been cited by the U.S. government and major U.S. news outlets as evidence of Yanukovych’s depravity, thus justifying his violent removal from office last month when he was forced to flee for his life after neo-Nazi militias seized control of government buildings.

Yet, despite the new evidence suggesting that the coup-makers may have been responsible for instigating the violence, the mainstream U.S. press continues to revise the preferred narrative by putting white hats on the coup-makers and black hats on the Yanukovych government. For instance, the New York Times has stopped reporting that more than a dozen police officers were among the 80 or so people killed as protests in Kiev turned violent. The typical new version in the U.S. press is simply that Yanukovych’s police opened fire on peaceful demonstrators, killing 80 of them.

And to take a contradictory view of this conventional wisdom marks you as “crazy.” When Yanukovych and Putin raised questions about who actually opened fire, the U.S. news media dismissed their suspicions as “conspiracy theories” and proof of “delusional” thinking. It is now a virtual consensus across the U.S. news media that Putin is “unstable” and “disconnected from reality.”

    This Is The Truth

Warning to the World: Washington and its NATO & EU Vassals are Insane

Herbert E. Meyer, a nutcase who was a special assistant to the CIA director for a period during the Reagan administration, has penned an article calling for Russian President Putin’s assassination. If we have “ to get him out of the Kremlin feet-first with a bullet hole in the back of his head, that would be okay with us.” http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/08/how_to_solve_the_putin_problem.html

As the crazed Meyer illiustrates, the insanity that Washington has released upon the world knows no restraint. Jose Manual Barroso, installed as Washington’s puppet as European Commission President, misrepresented his recent confidential telephone conversation with Russia’s President Putin by telling the media that Putin issued a threat: “If I want to, I can take Kiev in two weeks.”

Clearly, Putin did not issue a threat. A threat would be inconsistent with Putin’s entire unprovocative approach to the strategic threat that Washington and its NATO puppets have brought to Russia in Ukraine. Russia’s permanent representative to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, said that if Barroso’s lie stands, Russia will make public the full recording of the conversation

Anyone familiar with the disparity between the Ukrainian and Russian militaries knows full well that it would take the Russian military 14 hours, not 14 days, to take all of Ukraine. Just remember what happened to the American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian Army when Washington set its stupid Georgian puppets on South Ossetia. The American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian army collapsed under Russian counterattack in 5 hours.

The lie that Washington’s puppet Barroso told was not worthy of a serious person. But where in Europe is there a serious person in power? Nowhere. The few serious people are all out of power. Consider the NATO Secretary General, Anders Rasmussen. He was a prime minister of Denmark who saw he could rise beyond Denmark by serving as Washington’s puppet. As prime minister he strongly supported Washington’s illegal invasion of Iraq, declaring that “we know that Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction.” Of course, the fool didn’t know any such thing, and why would it matter if Iraq did have such weapons. Many countries have weapons of mass destruction.

According to the rule that anyone who serves Washington is elevated, the cipher Rasmussen was elevated.

    < snip >

The question is: who does Merkel represent? Washington or Germany? So far Merkel has represented Washington, not German business interests, not the German people, and not Germany’s interests as a country. Here is a protest in Dresden where a crowd prevents Merkel’s speech with shouts of “kriegstreiber” (warmonger), “liar, liar,” and “no war with Russia.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wSMhGE_Mpk

Note to readers, the message CMG is trying desperately to convey here is "if you believe the evidence instead of the propaganda you are an unpatriotic democrat pacifist and a danger to your own country".

This is the exact same type of propaganda the Nazis under Hitler were famous for.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."

    --Goering at the Nuremberg Trials

It's an old over used ploy the neocons have repeated every time they want to start another war with somebody.

Evidently the neocons and their followers haven't learned any new propaganda tricks since lying us into Iraq.

Just pointing out how your neocon heros prefer worn out Nazi propaganda tricks to the truth, and how willingly you keep repeating it in order to hide the fact that you cannot prove your allegations.

The neocons did the same thing in the lead up to invading Iraq. The neocons did the same thing in the lead up to bombing Libya. The neocons attempted the same thing when they wanted to bomb Syria. Now they and you are attempting to use the same old Nazi propaganda trick to start a war with Russia.

Your neocon heros have a long record of poking other's in the eye with a sharp stick until they flinch then accusing them of being the bad guy when they try to defend themselves.

There is no truth in them and they have no integrity at all. They are in a word, insane and they won't be happy until they start WWIII. Every lie they have told has been uncovered and every war or military intervention/nation building experiment they have started has ended in epic failure.

They are insane. They are the biggest threat to this country and the world.

They will take us all down in flames because of their hubris and arrogance and lack of human compassion and common sense. I'm still forced to wonder how you can be fooled by the same old tricks and lies over and over and over again and again and again without wising up?

No surprise there you won't consider anything that doesn't line up with the neocon's many lies and deceptions.

I merely point out that you and the neocons use the same propaganda trick the Nazis used in your attempts to gain the world's consent to start another war of aggression. Demonize the target nation and accuse anyone who questions the tactic and the complete lack of evidence to back your allegations as un patriotic and a danger to their own country.

In other words . . . believe the same old lies or be labeled a traitor.

You're taking a page right out of the Nazi playbook and I doubt you even realize it. It's really a shame you and your heros have to resort to such underhanded tactics to get your way.

But there it is for all to see.

You don't have to quote Nazis to use their propaganda tricks.

The whole sum total of your argument is this . . . "believe the same old lies or be labeled a traitor."

At times you mix it up with . . . "believe the same old lies or be labeled a democrat."

Like I said that's a shameful and underhanded way of dealing with the fact you cannot back up your allegations with credible evidence. But then I have come to expect that from people who cannot think beyond the confines of the false left vs right paradigm. It's like you're stuck in a dark rut and can't or won't climb out to see the light of day.

There is no truth or integrity in those you have placed your blind trust. They are quite literally insane.

    U.S. Hypocrisy

In the same news conference, Putin noted the U.S. government’s hypocrisy in decrying Russia’s intervention in Crimea. He said: “It’s necessary to recall the actions of the United States in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Libya, where they acted either without any sanction from the U.N. Security Council or distorted the content of these resolutions, as it happened in Libya. There, as you know, only the right to create a no-fly zone for government aircraft was authorized, and it all ended in the bombing and participation of special forces in group operations.”

There is no denying the accuracy of Putin’s description of U.S. overreach in its interventions in the Twenty-first Century. Yet, Secretary of State John Kerry (and CMG) has ignored that history in denouncing Russia for using military force in the Crimea section of Ukraine. Kerry said on Tuesday: “It is not appropriate to invade a country and at the end of a barrel of gun dictate what you are trying to achieve. That is not Twenty-first Century, G-8, major-nation behavior.”

Despite Kerry’s bizarre lack of self-awareness — as a senator he joined in voting to authorize the U.S. invasion of Iraq — it is Putin who gets called “delusional.” While virtually all mainstream U.S. news outlets join in the demonization of Putin, there have been almost no words about the truly delusional hypocrisy of U.S. officials. Ignored is the inconvenient truth that the U.S. military invaded Iraq, still occupies Afghanistan, coordinated a “regime change” war in Libya in 2011, and has engaged in cross-border attacks in several countries, including Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia.

Though we’ve seen other examples of the U.S. political/media elite losing its collective mind – particularly during the crazed run-up to war in Iraq in 2002-2003 and the near stampede into another war with Syria in 2013 – the frantic madness over Putin and Ukraine is arguably the most dangerous manifestation of this nutty Official Washington “group think.”

    http://consortiumnews.com/2014/03/07/the-we-hate-putin-group-think/

To hear CMG tell it to not ignore these "inconvenient truths" and engage in this most recent mindless "group think" makes one a democrat, a communist, a "Putin lover", and a danger to one's own country, ie a traitor.

The fact that he has to keep resorting to this same dishonest argument over and over instead of providing credible evidence to support his allegations should be enough to convince even him that his argument is based on some type of fear based mass delusion instead of facts and evidence.

Which just goes to show that facts and evidence are of little if any concern to the fear peddlers and war mongers that have infested western governments and media.

The bottom line. There is no evidence "Russia invaded Ukraine", there is no evidence that "the Hun's are on the move". There are only lies piled on top of lies coming from Washington and the media with over used Nazi propaganda tricks thrown in to create an atmosphere where even questioning the lack of evidence is akin to being un patriotic and delusional.

It's time to wake up. The "crazies in the basement" are on the move. Again.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have here a quotation from Nazis that has been used to prop up a KGB Lt. Col. This must be one of the first times that this has been seen since the days of the German-Russian non-aggression pact, which ended when German invaded Russia in June 1941.

It staggers the imagination to read Nazis being used to assist the KGB.

And yet if one looks at the evidence it's Washington and the EU that are actually supporting violent Neo Nazi groups within Ukraine. All Washington, the neocons and CMG can do to support their conspiracy theory of "Russian aggression" is try to paint anyone who questions their many unfounded allegations as people who are "sleeping with the enemy". This is the sum total of CMG's argument throughout this whole thread.

Put all the posturing and fear inducing propaganda aside and look at all the evidence folks. That's where where you'll find the truth.

Which is worse, me quoting a Nazi to prove a point or your continuous use of a worn out Nazi propaganda tactic to support your unfounded conspiracy theory?

It should be quite clear at this point to anyone reading this thread that you cannot back up your allegations with credible evidence and instead of admitting that (as an honest critical thinking person would do) you have attempted time and again to paint a picture of me "sleeping with the enemy".

That pretty much tells everyone the whole story now doesn't it?

CMG, all you are doing now is showing everyone how right I am about you and your, um, argument. :applause:

US Boots in Iraq and Baltics, Authorization to Attack Syria...and US Troops in Ukraine!

It has been a busy week for US military planners.

As the NATO summit in Wales kicks off today, with an expected agreement to create a "spearhead" force of up to 5,000 troops to rapidly deploy to any "hotspot" in eastern Europe, we learn that the US will also send several hundred troops to participate in NATO military exercises in Ukraine later this month. The exercises, provocatively named "Rapid Trident," are said to be "a sign of the commitment of NATO states to support non-NATO member Ukraine..."

As the civil war rages on in Kiev, with US-backed troops from Kiev fighting to suppress an independence movement in the east, the presence of US troops on Ukrainian soil sends a perhaps dangerously clear message of US willingness to become further involved in Ukraine's internal affairs. Russia has been accused of military involvement on behalf of those seeking independence from Kiev, but Moscow denies any official Russian role.

President Obama said Wednesday he wants "American boots on the ground, continuously rotating through Estonia and Latvia and Lithuania," in response to Russian "aggression" in the region.

Also this week, President Obama signed off on yet another deployment of US troops back to Iraq, bringing the total number to over 1,000. US air strikes on Iraqi territory have continued for several weeks and though the Obama administration claims these additional troops will have no combat role, he also claimed not long ago that there would be no US combat troops returning to Iraq at all.

President Obama spoke yesterday on the importance of respecting national sovereignty in advance of the NATO summit:

We’ll meet as an alliance with President Poroshenko to show that our 28 nations are united in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty. (*Doublespeak Alert!)

Meanwhile, the administration is said to be moving ever closer to an attack on Syrian territory without that country's permission. The target is the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) whose ranks have been significantly swelled by those previously trained and armed by the United States as "moderate" anti-Assad rebels.

    Read More At: http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2014/september/04/us-boots-in-iraq-and-baltics,-authorization-to-attack-syriaand-us-troops-in-ukraine!.aspx

    * The evidence shows it was Washington that has been violating Ukraine's sovereignty by supporting a violent coup.
