Celebrating 50 Years

    Our church celebrated its 50th anniversary this past weekend. It's amazing all that has happened since the church's inception back in 1965 and how richly God has blessed us through these 50 years.

    Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing it with us. A lot had gone on in the past 50 years and many people have been through the doors. A lot of lives were changed. Congrats to your church on 50 years, hope it remains around for a long, long time.

    Glad you enjoyed it. It was interesting even for me to see what the area was like 50 years ago. Back then, geographically and ethnically, the area was much different -- more rural, more Anglo -- and the church at that time reflected that.

    Today, the area is more suburban (as it's only 15 miles from downtown) and much more diverse, racially and ethnically. Thankfully, we are blessed to have both a diverse congregation and leadership as well.
