Can we embrace new technologies when doing church transactions? I am specific since I feel that churches should now be accepting bitcoins. Is that possible?

I'm just guessing, but I would think that a lot of people would have to be taught what they were first.

I am one who would need to attend that training, but unless there is something wrong with the whole bitcoin system, why not take them. Like a worldwide cashless currency.

The other part of me says why add another level of technology to the simple act of giving, and then the Ministry being burdened with how to cash them in, or make purchases.

Why do you feel they "should be" accepting them?

As Jesus looked up, he saw old-money donors putting their cash into the temple coffers. He also glanced up and saw a widow digitally transfer two bit coins to the synagogue’s leger from her cell phone. Ignorning her password, he quickly calculated her potential net worth. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow used her trivial computing presence to digitally transfer her payments which has the potential to be more than all the others. All these other people gave their gifts out of their actual wealth; but she from her abstract wealth gave all she had to compute with.”
