Share your Prayer, Words of Encouragement about the Invisible Enemy

    Are you referring to Covid19? Why do you call it an enemy when God has sent and directed it?

    2 Chronicles 7:12-15 Then the Lord appeared to Solomon in the night and said to him: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.

    Let us do what God calls of us.
    Humble ourselves
    Pray
    Seek God's face
    Turn from our wicked ways.

    When we read the book of Habakkuk, we see that God sends the wicked to discipline His people. May we respond like Habakkuk when God brings calamity.

    Habakkuk 3:17-18 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

    Peter tells us this:

    1 Peter 4:16-19 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

    So, thank God for His goodness in bringing us to the throne of grace. My prayer is this:

    “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

    My prayer is that God will accomplish his perfect will in this virus as he directs its path and its effect.

    My prayers generally hit on many points but are typically specific about an outcome while asking for wisdom, guidance, His grace, mercy, my trust in Him and praising His love. Today, I went into a short prayer with misty eyes after listening to the speech while watching our ship, the Comfort, embark to do battle against this invisible enemy. Its hard to put into words what I felt watching this but I prayed for God to bless this ship and our country as it went on its way.

    Mr. My Pillow during his speech at today’s press conference:

    "God gave us grace November 8th 2016 to change the course we were on. God has been taken out of schools and lives a nation that has turned it’s back on God and I encourage you to use this time at home to get into the Word, read our Bibles and spend time with our families."

    Be strong, help your neighbor and as a child of God say unto your brothers, be of good courage and wait on the Lord to do what is good. He is with us wherever we go…

    1Ch 19:13 Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.

    Psa 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

    Isa 41:6 They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

    Jos 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

    Here's my praise/prayer - my shot in the arm.

    The roaring lion seeking whom he may devour thought if churches were closed due to this - they would die. The opposite is happening in my area. Churches are coming together and uniting without violating stay-at-home mandates in ways never thought of. Social media is aflame with scriptures, prayers, invitations to live-streaming, and groups forming to get the word out for who needs help and support. Hundreds, if not thousands, are sharing the Word and more individually and as groups.

    There's a family I've been praying for for YEARS. Nice people, fine community members, but lost and going to hell.
    Two of them were saved listening to a local message from a local pastor on Facebook. He was all alone [except for the cameraman] in church, but God's Word was bursting through the skies and reaching hundreds of people.

    They called his church office [this was two weeks ago under the "less than 10" rule]. He invited them to his office and they were counseled and SAVED.

    The church is wakening up in terms of what they are supposed to be doing outside of traditional worship services and it is awesome around here. Louisiana is bad right now. I just wish you knew. Our numbers increase dramatically everyday. But we do not fear here.

    A light is going off around here. No time for playing church, trying to be the biggest or baddest Christian, nor the smartest and showing off knowledge.

    I pray for true and genuine revival. I truly and joyfully believe this is a HUGE opportunity for the church to do whatever is required to be obedient to the Holy Spirit and for him to usher in revival.

    When I pray for people to be saved, sometimes I pray - "whatever it takes". I don't pray that lightly - because I prayed that for a long time for a loved one and what it took was the death of my father.

    I never pray that lightly anymore. It took this pandemic for those two I mentioned to be saved. I pray countless more are saved, revived, and made more obedient to Christ -

    - whatever it takes.

    Churches will meet again and it's going to be an explosion! I can't shake this impression on my heart.
