So then Obama is completely incompetent based on this reasoning.

==Well then, you were not around me. I complained about Obama, Biden, McCain, and Palin, many times. All of them broke their word and all of them took money from the tax payers for jobs they were not doing. That is dishonesty no matter who is guilty of it. It is just another example of the monarchical attitude of many politicians in DC. They think they can do whatever they want and it is ok. However if we tried those stunts at on our employers we would be fired and maybe taken to court.

O, and yes, Obama and Palin are no different in this respect.

==That does not make it moral, right, or justifiable. Just because "everybody else is doing it" is not an excuse. It is wrong when one does it, it is wrong when they all do it. It is wrong, it is dishonest, it is crooked, it is wrong.

If Sarah Palin is going to run for President to oust that little third world dictator "bo" and plans to start her campaign now she did the ethical thing by resigning. It is my belief that she does not plan to run but has a message and purpose to restore the Constitutional Republic the democrats have stolen or destroyed over the years.

He got a promotion to president, it is normal to leave one job when you get promoted. I can't remember one recent politician besides Reagan and Nixon who didn't quit when they made president or Senate.

What makes Palin different is she quit with no place to go. She is declaring a higher calling then says the ethics charges made her administration ineffective. That's like saying I will be Gov when everyone likes me and I can generally get my way but when it calls for the real politics of compromise and give and take then she quit. She is probably afraid of the record one amasses with give and take. That's when you didn't get your way, you just did the best you could for the people you represent.

It also sound like she has quit every previous elected position with no place to go. I don't know if that's fact.

I guess the party of no wouldn't know about that...

What the spinner you are. He failed to finish his obligation as a Senator. And that goes for everyone who does that.

So if a person gets promoted on their job from say supervisor to manager, you saying they quit as supervisor to become a manager? What kind of logic is that???

It is not quitting when you move up, it is getting promoted. Quitting is what you leave with no where to go.

So by your theory every governor or congressman who makes president is a quitter. Get a grip Rev...

Yes they are. When you get elected you make a commitment to stay for the period of time. Getting hired in a job for a company is nothing this same as being elected. As an employee we have the right to terminate for any reason unless we sign a contract. Another failed liberal comparison. The grip needed is your reality. As has been said politicians should finish their term then run not campaign while having been elected elsewhere. That is just power seeking in a hurry. If we were to put a stop to this horrific practice and set term limits it would eliminate career politicians which lead to corrupt politics.

Perhaps you could try something different this time and gets the facts before posting your uninformed opinions.

Now it is time to live up to your expectations of others and say something nice about Sarah Palin. Christians don't focus on only the bad - remember?

For me, it's not that Palin is stepping down, per se, that is the problem. It's that she hasn't given a specific reason for doing so. For instance, if she said that she intended to seek the presidential nomination in 2012, I would understand. Or, if she said that there were personal or family reasons, that would also be understandable.

BTW, politicians from both parties regularly run for higher office without resigning from their current position. I believe one reason for this would be is that the losing party would lose a valuable leader. If both McCain and Obama had resigned, the republican party would have lost McCain in the Senate. Neither party wants to do this.

And it is always wrong regardless of the reason. You cannot be Senator on the campaign trial.

RS, perhaps you should file an ethics violation complaint for not confiding in you more!

But then again, I'm sure that it was just an oversight on her part; nothing personal.

All of this will not look good on her Presidential resume if she chooses to run in 2012. It is not good to quit because you can't take the heat and being a quitter really, really sets a poor example.
