HP: We already knew that, just like all Calvinists do. When you say that, you are telling us that there was NEVER any possibility for any other than those elected to receive forgiveness. That is the necessitation of the damned in the clearest terms possible. The possibility of any that are damned being saved is a chimera, without the slightest deviation from the fatalistic necessitated system of Calvinism.

Show us something we do not understand about your position.

I agree with this statement, was just addressing it from the ptroblem of those on this OP denying Election based upon will of god..

If not, then Jesus did not die to atone for a specific peoples, but to offer general salvation to all, and no way to make sure any would even receive it and get saved!

What necessarily damns men to hell is their own depraved enmity toward God. This is the consequence of the fall. This is the just condemnation of all men without distinction. Only the mercy of God prevents the IMMEDIATE just wrath of God upon all men including you (Jn. 3:36)

Who condemns the sinner, God or themselves, who is the cause of their own judgement?

HP: Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

That verse says nothing even remotely as do your comments, apart from your last sentenc which the verse does not state but I would agree with.

It is our SIN that separates us from God, NOT some inherited nature. Show us one verse that plainly states the nature we are 'born with' is why we are condemned,........and I will show you that it is NOT the nature we are born with, but our SINS that condemn us.

Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Isa 59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
Isa 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Is God or man the cause for their ultimate condemnation? God merely executes justice but it is man that provides the basis to be condemned! Hence, the fall of humanity provided the just basis for condemnation of the whole race as it existed in Adam. If God would have chosen to exercise immediate and complete wrath in the very day he ate then there would be no individualized YOU would there?

What persons fail to see here is that NONE are comdemned by god "forcing' them to reject Christ, by merely allowing them to do as they will, their natural inclinations will result in refusing to be saved by jesus...

what God will say at the Final judgement to sinners will be "thy will be done"

One might as well condemn one to hell for the color of their hair as to condemn man for a nature he had nothing to do with. Both are presented as necessitated conditions, so if necessitated conditions can be grounds for condemnation, ones hair color might well be just cause for condemnnation to hell as any other necessitated notion.

Common sense demands that all that is human nature completely existed in Adam when Adam sinned and thus acted when Adam acted as Adam cannot be divorced from human nature. It is this HUMANITY that sinned and it is this HUMANITY that immediately suffered the wages of sin which is death. He died spiritually immediately upon sin and thus humanity died spiritually upon sin and that is the death that is passed to all humanity because all humanity is derived from Adam's human nature. Physical death and eternal death are but consequential to spiritual death. Infants are subject to physical death because they are subject to spiritually dead human nature. Thus death passed unto all mankind by the only means humanity is individualized by reproduction of like kind.

All of humanity acted with and when Adam acted because all humanity existed only in one man and by one man's offence many be dead. Hence, no one is suffering for the sins of their father but for sin they actively participated in because they were in Adam when Adam sinned as much as Levi was in the loins of Abraham when Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek.

We have proven this point over and over and over again with scriptures that clearly state infants are born with a fallen nature which you have had to EXPLAIN AWAY.

Except by God's grace, you will never come to the truth of salvation and that is why you don't even believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ as presented in the scriptures but in works and living above sin.

Thats a lie, Christ met the requirement to God in order for God to forgive sins for those Christ died for ! You are promoting a works salvation, its not of God ! And you are teaching against Christ !

No its not. Its value is proportioned to the extinct of saving who it saved !

His Punishment for sin was meted out to the degree that He suffered enough for only those God had given Him !

Now could it had been valued suffcient to save all men without exception ? Sure , If that would have been God's Purposed, but it was not !

HP: What is this 'value' notion DW speaks concerning? Scripture clearly states Christ blood was shed for the sins of all men.
1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Where does Scripture every state, as Savedbymercy suggests, "to the degree that He suffered enough only for those God had given Him?" That is a completely false notion not founded in Scripture. Christ died for the ungodly, lock, stock, and barrel.

Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Absolutely wrong, He was writing to the saints, the called of Jesus Christ , those who had been given Faith, the Beloved of God Rom 1:6-8

6Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

    Rom 9:24

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

He was writing to and about the Elect Rom 8:33-34

33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Now you can ignore it and explain it away if you want to, but remember, this is the Word of God I am witnessing to you !
