Wow...this place is really lively today. What??? Everyone at a funeral? :saint:

Not much going on here. It's hot and humid, and there are storms headed this way. Viv just called saying she's on her way home, and that they have again changed the hours for her group, at least for tomorrow. That's ok...she's leaving at 11 am anyhow. So, it doesn't matter.

Has anyone else had a problem posting over the past few days? Seems as if the system is slow or something?? Maybe it's just me.

Anyhow, getting ready to go and start dinner....Have a great evening.

You can really liven it up by double/triple posting, I tell ya!

I'm gonna watch a movie and finish some homework...not quite a funeral, but not exactly exciting either.

I did make spaghetti today that even I ate some of. That's odd because I don't like spaghetti, but the sauce turned out so good I could have eaten just that. I'm normally not that hot on what I make myself, but I'm gonna have to repeat that one!

After a day (yesterday) of cleaning out closets and bathrooms and drawers and putting most of a desk together, I could hardly move today. I do think the "can hardly move" part was the desk. That baby was heavy to turn over all by myself and took more than a few tries!

I had to go to work today even though I was sore and tired. Since yesterday was most everyone's last day, I was there nearly by myself and completely bored. I had enough work to do until noon and was still sitting around waiting for people to get me their webpage stuff which was due yesterday at 3pm. *sigh*

So no funeral here either, but now I'm in my recliner trying not to slide into a "I'm tired, I'm sore, Works over" funk. :tongue3:

I need to do some cleaning myself... I can't convince myself to do it though. :p

I'm about to head out on my evening walk with my dog Kacey though, so atleast that'll get me outta the house for a while.

OK, I finished the drawers for the desk and the two file drawers WILL NOT go in. *STOMP*

The instructions say to give them a "hard push." I guess hard is relative, but I think pushing the desk across the room pushing might qualify. humpf

Kick it in strategic places. Sometimes a tap in just the right spot will work miracles. Here's your best bet: get a three year old and tell him/her to push the drawer in. For some reason they always find a way to get that stuff to work. Say there's a piece of candy under the open part, and if he closes the drawer, the candy will pop out.

I am heading for bed. I've turned the A/C on in the bedroom - just in case I can lay down without coughing. It would feel SO good to stretch out in my bed. I'm gonna try it and if it doesn't work, then I'll go back to the recliner for another night.

My breathing is still quite labored and my cough is still bad, but I'm not coughing as often or for so long at a time.

    I'm gonna be fine!

    Pleasant dreams all!

    P.S.
The squirrels in my back yard sent some black walnuts to BH. I've hidden them under her rocking chair. I feel sure she will find them. :)

    I'm still here.:wavey:

I sang [cried through] a song at church tonight and as soon as I finished, the preacher said "Sing that again"

It's a song that is very emotional for me, so i can't even practice it without choking up at least a little bit.

Well, all...today is oncologist day for me. If you remember, please pray for me. I didn't sleep much last night. Not from worry so much, but, just from not wanting to have to go through all of those tests again.

Viv said last night I seemed emotionally wiped out, despondant, etc., and that I should refrain from posting for a few days. I may take her advice. If I find anything out, she or I one will let you know either way.

I need to go and try to get some rest. The sleeping pill is kicking in, or so it seems.

Be good, Be kind, Be careful.
