The following "regulars" on the BB have asked for our prayers on long term health needs. If YOU would like to be added/deleted from this list, please PM or EMAIL me or I Am Blessed 16 and we will add your request.

PRAYER LIST - LONG TERM HEALTH NEEDS

BM's daughter Carey found out Sept 9th that she has breast cancer. She is 27 years old.

Sue's daughter, Shawna, is 32 and has been battling cancer and the results of synovial sarcoma since she was 15. It will be a life-long battle. She has had several amputations. The last surgery removed her leg up to her knee. The doctors say it is just a matter of time before she will face amputation up to the hip.

Gayla has breast cancer. She's 39 with two babies. The tumor is quite large and she'll be undergoing treatment for another year.

Baptistteacher has a wife with breast cancer that has spread to her rib and hip bones.

Dr. Bob has profound peripheral neuropathy destroying all nerves in his feet and legs.

Sue has COPD (incurable) caused from Chronic Bronchitis and is very susceptible to pneumonia. She has also developed some heart problems.

I was hit by a car 13 years ago as a result I'm in a wheelchair, because I'm physically-disabled I have had cellulitus for 9 years, first 8 years in right foot and leg, the past year mostly in left foot and leg. It can be very painful, but not as bad as Jesus had it on the cross.
    Thank you and God Bless

    This is from Gina L:

Please add my daughter Anna. She's had a couple of problems. The main concern right now is to find out what's wrong with her vision and ensure that she keeps seeing, she's blind in one eye right now.
The other concern is her heart. We know the problem, but right now we're waiting on her symptoms to determine when/if to do surgery. If the symptoms stay tolerable no surgery, if they don't then we'll have it done to reroute an aberrant artery. At the least I'm praying that all of it waits until she's old enough to be more involved in the decision and understand more about it as she's terrified of surgery at this point in time. We've known for about a year, she's 7 now.

Toss me on the list too for chronic pain that limits my mobility when it hits hard.

Could you please add me to the permanent prayer list. I'm fighting an ongoing battle with bilateral Meniere's disease which affects my balance and hearing, and leaves me with vertigo, unsteadiness, fullness in the ears, pain in the ears, nausea, vomiting and several other unpleasant things I shall not mention. This is coupled with severe back pain, partially from trauma, but much of it is from heredity. I have had several rounds of epidural spinal injections, nerve blocks, etc., and nothing has worked. Part of the back and leg pain is caused from diabetic neuropathy. It is a constant struggle to want to go on every day like this, but I know God has a reason for it.

    Thanks, Sis,

    Bro. Tony

    This is from reformedbeliever.

After reading the other prayer requests, I feel bad asking for my own. It is not too selfish however, I'm starting a new church, and need to be able physically to meet the challenges.

I've had two back surgeries, and have chronic pain. I'm facing another surgery when I feel I can no longer stand the pain. I've had several epidural steroid injections, and can't wait till the next one. The epidurals make it to where I can go on, with the help of medication.

I'm battling weight, but with diet and exercise am loosing some. Now my feet have developed a problem with the tendon? or whatever on the bottom of my feet. I'm either going to have to have surgery or corrective shoes, or I'm going to have bone spurs if I don't already. God's grace is sufficient for me.

Please pray and ask God if He wants me to keep going with the church start. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed.

    Thank you. RB

(He has been dealing with these problems for 17 years.)

DH and I are prediabetic. We will deal with this the rest of our lives. Please pray that I will learn to cook healthy and we will not have too many problems with this.

We both have a family history of late onset diabetes. We knew it was coming, we just didn't know when...

    From a board member, Nash:

Please pray for the person Nash has been praying for as his life partner. Please pray for wisdom, guidance, courage, obedience and faith.

    Thanks.

One of our board members, Dr. Randy Grace, has Parkinsons, but as he states, It doesn't have him. Please be in prayer for it to be conquered in his life.
