    Signs of an intensifying Moscow-led information campaign have the Lithuanian government worried that Russia is laying the groundwork for "kinetic operations" — a euphemism for combat — similar to its recent actions in Crimea and eastern Ukraine.

    Lithuania's defense minister and military communications officials told The Guardian that they were "taking very seriously" Russia-organized propaganda efforts to undermine stability in the Baltics, which consist of Lithuania and its northern neighbors, Latvia and Estonia.

    The Baltic States are probably right. Sweden are openly calling people to national service and upgrading their military capability that they might be better prepared to defend themselves in the event of an invasion. Its not like their fear is unjustified either, although it may not be today, it could well happen into the future. As it currently seems Russia seem to do better by having Russian citizens or people that want to be join together and call for independance from their country and then to annex their state to Russia as was the case in Georgia and is currently the case in the Ukraine. Estonia and Lithuania have significant post WW2 populations of Russian people and the relationship is not always great with their governments.

    Whilst end times theology is not my strong point, its often been said that either of Gog or Magog represents Russia, either way its clearly all linked in at some point as the various prophecies of global events continue to take place.
