Sounds like the doctor may be taking legal action with the backing of a large firm. Hope it was worth not simply raising the $$$ offer and having someone leave voluntarily. The practice of overlooking should make people think twice about believing that an airline can be relied upon to get them to a critical destination.

 

You can rest assured there will be the passing of the buck from United to the law enforcement officers.

However the pilot could probably have ended the fiasco at any time.

You know, even though the doctor got a raw deal, I don't believe that I would have gone into hysterics. Unless I was on a flight to see a dying relative or something.

 

Heard on the radio a guy that had just flown Southwest Airlines and when the flight attendant was going to start the safety spiel she said, "Before I get started on the safety speech, we need four volunteers...<long pause>...just kidding!"
