The word “spirit” does not exist in the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts, for the word Hebrew word “ruach” and the Greek word “pneuma” always pertains to “wind” and “breath”, for what God gave man to live was not “spirit”, for “spirit” does not exist, but it was “breath”, which is moving air, hence “he breathed into man the airflow of life”, which relates to other passages of scripture that speak of this airflow, such as “the body without the airflow is dead, so belief without works is dead” and “into your hands I commit my airflow, when he had said this, he breathed his last” and “the airflow returns to God who gave it”. As such, angels are able to transform into different forms, such as the form of fire, which is the form the angel that appeared to Moses appeared as, “in flames of fire in a burning bush”, hence “he makes his ministers into flames of fire”, which is a pyronian body, which pertains to a certain type of angel that can transform into this form, which are “seraphim”, which is based on the Hebrew word “saraph”, which means “to burn”, and angels are also able to transform into the form of airflow, hence “he makes his angels into airflows”, which is an aeolian body, which is incorrectly translated as “spiritual body”, and in this form, the body of airflow is then set apart from other ordinary airflows, because it is a body of airflow in which the soul of an angel exists in, thus “set-apart airflow”, which is why the set-apart airflow is described as having emotions, is able to speak, and is able to intercede, which is rendered incorrectly as “holy spirit”. And even though the English word “spirit” is derived from the Latin word “spiritus”, which did indeed mean moving air in the past, the word “spirit” has long lost its original meaning throughout time into a modern idea of “spirit”, making a false distinction between spirit and breath, which does not exist, for they are the same thing, which is why the phrase “I inhale and exhale spirit” no longer makes sense in English, and because of this and the difficulty in disassociating the word “spirit” with the modern idea of “spirit”, a new word must be used in English, that conveys both the flow of air in the sky, “wind”, and the flow of air in the nostrils, “breath”, just as the original words conveyed these exact things, which used one word in the Hebrew and one word in the Greek, where the exact translation into English for the original words is “airflow”.

    Psa 16:10

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

spirit is not soul, the eternal part you mistakenly "mistranslated " pertains to" spirit" or mind or as you say or human life. It is not the same as soul, or that which can responds to the spiritual. You know God with your "nephesh" or "pnuemna" or soul Psyche and ruwach relate to the mind or spirit as your OP expresses.

teknonoftheos, I bet you do not acknowledge the soul as being real?

I have not. The soul is your existence, and using the body is where the soul can see through the eyes, the soul can think through the brain, and the soul can hear through the ears. The soul exists in the blood. The "pneuma" is your breath, which gives life to the body, and subsequently gives life to the soul. Without the breath, the body is dead, which returns to the ground, and the soul becomes asleep, and continues to exist, but is kept in Sheol, which is in the depths of the earth. This is what I explained in my study, which you obviously misread.

I did not misread but knew your error immediately.

the soul is how you interact with spiritual.
The spirit is how you interact with the mental
The body is how you interact physically.

The confusion is in the Bible one can be used to distinguish from the other two or include the other two.

The breath you choose to use for spirit is not, it is physical The soul exists without the body , as you will.

it helps to use the Greek,, soul pnuema, spirit psyche, body soma

The Hebrew usage is more intertwined because each word is translated as another .

I perceived you were Jewish by you post rather than your Bio. Should we only refer to the OT verses?

There is no such thing as "spirit". The body is given life by the breath of God, hence "he breathed into the nostrils of man and he became a living soul". "Pneuma" and "ruach" means "wind", "breath", "airflow".

Just curious teknonoftheos are you associated in any way with the Hebrew Roots (HR) entity?

You identify your "faith" as Jewish and wear the tefillin and prayer shawl. Are you Orthodox, Hasidim, or what affiliation?

Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh? True God and true man?

Spirit is psyche in your modern definition of "spirit", but that is not the true definition of "pneuma" according to the scriptures, which is why the same Greek and Hebrew words are used interchangeably to refer to the airflow of the nostrils and airflow of the sky. It is airflow that gives us life, and ability to think, and without the airflow, we die, and thus go into a state of sleep.

Yeshuah is the representation of God, so he is indeed God in the flesh.

    Thank you.

Again for curiosity's sake - After reading your several positions concerning the word "spirit" you then could not be a "Trinitarian", the Holy Spirit being a person according to the "trinitarian" doctrine..

The teaching of the trinity is a false teaching promulgated by the Roman church, which is why the trinitarian verses either do not exist in early manuscripts, or are quoted by early believers in its original way, "in my name", which correlates with all scriptures to do all things in the name of Yeshuah alone.... because these forgeries serve a lie concerning the trinity. This is why it is important to understand why the word "spirit" is a mistranslation, and instead, the word "airflow" should now be used in English, to convey the precise meaning conveyed by the authors, which in turn helps us understand the true identity of the set-apart airflow, which are angels.
