    This event....

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

    Will happen at this time....

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. - 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3

    1. Falling Away - Which is now occurring
    2. Son of Perdition - The revealing of the Anti-Christ

I believe when the Anti-Christ makes his scene (which is not that far away) it is time for the rapture prophecy to come true.

I believe that the AC will first perform the "abomination of desolation", as Jesus said "when you see the AOD...".

How do work, “and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” in all of that???

Worldwide persecution of Christians. When the last person God has willed to be saved comes to Jesus in Faith (fullness of the Gentiles....veil lifted from Jews...thus all Israel is saved) Jesus will return in glory.

I believe Jesus was speaking to Christians when He said, "When you see the AOD...". Obviously, this wouldn't concern anyone already raptured.

This 'new' doctrine that Darby invented did not exist for the first 1,900 years of the Church. Don't you think that is a little late to be developing Christian doctrine? Gotta love the Lutherans:

That, to say the least is somewhat contradictory. Not to say unscriptural.

If Jesus said "When you see the AOD...". to Christians and you said "this wouldn't concern anyone already raptured." How would they see it. ?

Of course Jesus was speaking to his disciples and it was them he said would see it.

:Roflmao:Roflmao:Roflmao:Roflmao:Roflmao:Roflmao... WALTER!... You made my day, I couldn't stop laughing... I ask my Dad who was I considered, a Godly man what his position was on the Millennium and all that it entails... He said son I'm of the Millennium brethren few talk about we are a rare breed... So I was curious having studied them all, so I asked him what he meant... I'm of the Pan-Millennium brethren, whatever God has planned it will all pan out in the end... Brother Glen:D

Go through the BB archives. This was a hot subject a few years ago. There were Early Church Fathers who wrote concerning the Millennium (The Chiliad), the Tribulation (Jacobs Trouble) and yes even the rapture The harpazo).

There was no systematic theology of Dispensationalism then but scattered writings here and there.

Modernly it was developed by Jesuits not Darby, he stole it from them (supposedly).

    Jesuit Futurism
