Ahh, found another interesting speech worthy of evaluation. Does the RCC need a strong man Pope. One that will lead them to a leadership position in world affairs? I personally view Pope Francis as a weak and ineffective leader. Your thoughts.

Yes, another leader in the mold of St. John Paul II would do nicely. Pope Francis is indeed a weak leader and his kowtowing to the Chinese over the appointment of Bishops in that country is proof. If it's one thing we have learned since WW2, it is that hardline dictatorial leaders and Communist governments cannot be appeased.

The title young Pope got my attention. They'd never bring in a young Pope. Too long to get rid of him if he became not liked. They like the old guys ole around 80.

    And
that’s interesting... from what I was able to ascertain from the show, none have been able to find out who elected the guy. His explanation was that he prayed extremely hard for the job so that he could make his mark for God and so The Lord gave it to him (the younger man). Therefore this younger pope feels he is on a mission. That’s how the show unfolds. That First Video , with the college of cardinals is his plan to get it rolling... one that was directly from the ‘Shock and Awe’ playbook. If the RCC had a Pope of that caliber, the world wood be a very different place... at least that’s my opinion.

These are the two topics which I shall address today: first, the apostasy of John Paul II and its theological consequences; and second, the truly Catholic response to this apostasy.

The Apostasy of John Paul II
Notice that I have not chosen the word heresy, but rather apostasy. John Paul’s errors truly constitute an apostasy, and not merely a heresy.
Heresy is to doubt or deny a particular truth of the faith, or perhaps some truths of the faith, e.g., the divinity of Christ, the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist, the Mother of Christ is the mother to all in Christ, etc. You are probably familiar with some of the well-known heretics of history: Arius, Luther, Calvin. Luther of course was correct concerning indulgences but it did not have the same result of Paul's confronting of Peter. That is because those men that Luther confronted, who practiced such heresy as SELLING "Indulgences" were nothing like Peter the ROCK , upon whose character the church is built. Those false Peters would not accept correction, like our Rock did. Instead of treating Luther as Peter did Paul , in accepting his admonishment , these heretic men rejected Luther and injured him instead of receiving Luther as Peter did Paul.

The faithful men of God should work together, not use their positions to inflict harm upon another. Luther's treatment lead to his falling into heresy which ended with his attitude toward the Jews becoming the same way as hierarchy was to him . Hitler even quoted Luther and used his hateful words to justify his actions. The hierarchy were heretics who helped design the heretical behavior of Luther and his predecessors .
Apostasy though, is to completely reject the Christian faith . For example, the emperor in the fourth century, Julian, utterly repudiated the faith and became an apostate, embracing the cult of the Roman gods of old. He is known as Julian the Apostate. This is not so with Protestants , but for sure they are in heresy .
So why do I use this strong word with John Paul II, who professes to be a Catholic, and who even from time to time said edifying and pious things?
It is because he did not adhere to any of the articles of faith which he professed to believe. He did not adhere to them because for him these sacred truths do not exclude what is opposed to them. What contradicts these truths are not, for him, false.
Why did he not hold them to be false? Because first and above all, John Paul II was an ecumenist, and not a Catholic. An ecumenist is someone who believes that all religions contain a certain measure of the truth, some more, some less, and that they all therefore have a certain value. All religions, for the ecumenist, are true religions. Some are merely better than others.
The most that they give to the Catholic Church is that it has the “fullness of truth,” whereas the others have only “partial truth.” But when they talk about the Catholic Church, are they speaking about the Catholic Church which you and I know? No, they are referring to this reformed Catholicism, this new religion of Vatican II, an ugly fake of the true faith.
They also distinguish between “The Church” and the “Catholic Church.” “The Church” for them is all humanity, since, as Vatican II said in Gaudium et Spes, Christ united himself in some way with every man because of His Incarnation:
Human nature, by the very fact that it was assumed, not absorbed, in him [Christ], has been raised in us to a dignity beyond compare. For, by his incarnation, he, the Son of God, has in a certain way united himself with each man. (Gaudium et Spes, no. 22)
John Paul repeated this in his first encyclical, and indeed has made it the central theme of his doctrine. Let us listen to some other texts of John Paul. He speaks about the pan-christian ecumenical day of Assisi (October 27, 1986) and says that:
Such a day seemed to express, in a visible manner, the hidden but radical unity which the Word has established among men and women of this world... the fact of having come together at Assisi is like a sign of the profound unity of those who seek spiritual values in religion... The Council has made a connection between the identity of the Church and the unity of the human race. (Lumen Gentium 1 and 9; Gaudium et Spes, 42)
Therefore every man, inasmuch as he is united to the Word by virtue of His Incarnation only, is a member of the Church of Christ. The Church of Christ is nothing else than the whole human race without any exception. In the same speech, he continues this theme by explaining that the divine order of things is the unity of all men who seek religious values. The differences of faith and morals which exist among the various religions are the effect of human beings who have corrupted the divine order. Thus the goal, for John Paul, was to make religious differences disappear, and make the divine order — that is the pantheistic order — prevail. Let us cite his speech:
Religious differences reveal themselves as pertaining to another order. If the order of unity is divine, the religious differences are a human doing and must be overcome in the process towards the realization of the grandiose design of unity which presides over creation. It is possible that men not be conscious of their radical unity of origin and of their insertion in the very same divine plan. But despite such divisions, they are included in the grand and single design of God in Jesus Christ, who united himself in a certain way with every man (Gaudium et Spes, 22) even if he is not conscious of it.
From these words we perceive the apostasy of John Paul: all men belong to a pantheistic Christ who is united to each man, whether he knows it or not, by virtue of his Incarnation. Listen again to John Paul II:
To this catholic unity of the people of God all men are called, to this unity belong, in diverse forms, the catholic faithful and those who look with faith towards Christ and finally all men without exception.
These words of John Paul give us the key to understanding the enigma of this man: on the one hand to profess the truths of the Catholic Faith, to recite the Catholic Credo, but on the other hand to profess at the same time a complete repudiation of the Faith by abominable acts against the First Commandment.
John Paul II saw the value and utility of the Catholic Faith and of the Catholic Church as the instrument of uniting humanity, not indeed by leading them to the true Savior, but rather to this pantheistic Christ who embraces all men despite their religious differences. He has, in short, created a dogma-less Church which seeks to unite humanity under a dogma-less Christ. Because the Catholic Church is so useful toward this end, transformed as it is by Vatican II, John Paul II professes many Catholic doctrines. But does he adhere to these doctrines with the certitude and firmness of divine faith? By no means! For anyone who truly has the Catholic Faith could not:
kiss the Koran, the Mohammedan “Bible.”
say that all men are united to Christ solely by virtue of the Incarnation. (That is to say Christ was born in sin. IN COMING TO AND ACCEPTING CHRIST is when men are united and in that case it is not the many but the few.)
I could go on and on about PJP2's beliefs and how they are at odds with TRUE CHRISTIANITY, but that would be too long a post and this post is already too long.

Along with President Reagan, he led the good fight against the evil Soviet communists - and that was a good thing. In fact, as a young man he also stood up to the Nazi's and held the line as the Bishop in Poland. Did he make some mistakes? Sure, he was only human after all.

You would have to go back to John 23 to see the slide from conservative church to casual socialist ... folk charismatic mass and all. No Pope from that time on never put restriction homosexual priests, indeed the seminaries became homosexual bastions. Politics was permissive to the point that Joe Biden and Nancy Piloci can support abortion and not be excommunicated. In fact Biden was told by the Bishop of Scranton he could receive the sacraments but was ignored by Biden.... and then what did they do... nothing.

Now Catholics have Hippy Frank and his social agenda to contend with. The wheels are falling off. Once you’d be proud to be a Catholic.

That video was funny! I agree. Though Vatican II created a dogmaless church ,I agree the problems go back even further than its rise. But prior to that the Christian values were preserved at least, even if certain men acted in opposition to those values. Today there are not even conservative values for the most part. Clearly there are Traditional Catholics who are disturbed by what is going on. May God give them increase of His Spirit.

Those core Christian tenets once preserved have become obscured by the diluting doctrines of men. I do not agree that the Pope is the head of the Church , Christ is of course. What I believe is that a man /men can lead a body of believers but he must first stand upon the infallible Word of God to do so.

A man is as infallible as the Word he stands on and keeps, and that Word is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Though I have a Catholic back ground , I do not put blind faith in men. Blind faith is reserved for only God. With that said, the Catholic church has done its duty to bring people to the Dogma of the faith throughout the centuries regardless of the wolves which have arisen. This has happened in all denominations and it has even happened in the first Jewish Church of believers . Judas was the first wolf. And the apostles had to always admonish and correct doctrinal errors in their ministry. Fortunately believers back then did not throw out the baby with the bath water of men's false doctrines.

I believe we are in the season where all who love the Lord will have a personal relationship with God.
    Jeremiah 31:
    Mourning Turned to Joy
…32It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt—a covenant they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. 33“But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD. I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people. 34No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.”…

This is coming to its fullness. The House of Israel consist of Jew and Gentile to its full number. From the least to the greatest all shall know the Lord. This falls in line with Daniel 12:3-
. 3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Thank God for the printing press and now the internet. Men have gotten to know God through His written Word and have increased in knowledge. They have been able to test men's doctrines . No longer is the written Word a knowledge in which only the hierarchy wields. Even the least in station may know God and be increased. Though I grew up with Catholicism , I always had my own mind and searched out and sifted through its doctrines to learn what is true and what is erroneous. The scriptures alone help with understanding God. They have helped me gain knowledge of My God and He has given me growth. But I am grateful for the good things of Catholicism and will preserve those blessing I have received from knowing the Catholic Church. I feel the same way about all the good things the denominations have brought to the table. But I know only one Church United in Christ is His plan and Christ will execute that plan at this end of the age of sin.The believers out of Jew and Gentile will be one House. Peace!

You said it. Clearly other men too fought against communism even less than Christian men did. Many even lost their lives. I am not talking about just fighting against wrong but preserving truth as well. PJP2 chose to call himself a shepherd and enroll in an army that is to preserve the teachings of Christ, on that front he was not a Christian solider. Satan has many heads communism , ecumenism etc.....so forth and so on......There are many ways to try and destroy TRUTH!

With all due respect for the Polish people and you of course, most people do not investigate things as you or I may be compelled to do. The Polish nation made a profession of faith to receive Christ as their king. It was an affront to the globalist agenda pushed on the religious front through Jorge Bergoglio. It is clear, the Vatican has become what the Revelation prophecy states , the Whore of Babylon, she rides upon the back of the beast governmental system in charge of most of the world, Rothschild Headed.

The majority of the Polish people have never read PJP2's encyclicals or payed attention to his practices. They take him at face value-a kinsman who became a Pope and stood against the Communist. They take pride more so in a national hero. They are in the practice of what Christ said: "Do as they say and not as they do". You know He stated that referring to the Pharisees who were hypocrites. But they do not even look at that ( his hypocrisy). The Christian Polish people do not do as he did and embrace other religions. Most polish people are strict Traditional Catholics and speak out against Islam. Hence ,why they refused to allow the influx of Muslim ,migrants.

The moral of the story, God judges their hearts and they have made no room in them for other religions and in that, they have in them the preservation of the Christ Child . Peace!

No. To get me , you would have to understand the Song of Solomon and how it pertains to the time we are in. If you wish to discuss what is going on, I would love to.

Excommunication? Hmmm what an abuse of power. More good men get excommunicated than bad. I can rattle off a list of men known for years and years to have abused children and their power ,to the knowledge of those in hierarchy and not a one was ever excommunicated. But challenge hierarchy and EXCOMMUNICATE! is on their lips faster than lightening can flash, concerning your question on the SSPX thing.

It is a darn shame , the God Head is always rejected! You know , what will be will be .Christ will address all this lack of Christian love and humbleness before God . POWER, most can not handle it! " Heaven and earth shall pass away but My words shall never pass away"! Isn't that the Truth. Peace in Christ!

I am a ex catholic raised to not trust catholic priests. My own mother for years instructed me to stay away from them least they try to physically pervert you. She was a faithful catholic until gross pedophile stories surfaced, then she became despondent. Had there been strong men, not willing to compromise RCC values and address the homosexual issues publicly and punitively then she could have held her head up high, but did not happen.

Lastly, I believe that the RCC still has an obligation to get it right. Their hierarchical system will require men at the top who are committed Christians to root out the evil... otherwise pull it down because God cannot be fooled. My heart goes out to the Polish who I believe sometimes stand alone in their quest for solidarity (to Christ).

You are a very sensible person. You are not bashing a denomination with bias or partiality in what you have written here. That tells me you are for all who profess Christ as Lord and Savior. Though you identify as baptist, I see, you are for Christ and truth more than bashing denominations on behalf of the one you align most with. You definitely are showing the spirit of charity which has grown cold in most , but not you. God Bless you , I am confident that Christ is definitely increasing you.
    James 2:9
But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. ( You are not showing partiality but concern for the well being of all souls you seem to recognize the faults in all denominations and the good.)
    Romans 12:15-17
    Forgiveness
…15Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. 16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but enjoy the company of the lowly. Do not be conceited. 17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody.…

Oh sister, if you are aligned with Christ then we are family. However I am a Radical Christian who goes back to the root causes of things in order to discern the present and future. Roman Catholics are not the only ones with issues, just look at the Baptist Church with their agenda to modernize, blend reform theology with errr, non reform (traditional) theology.... what a mess. Personally I’m content to put God first ( Trinity), live a life in His pattern and let the chips fall where they may. And in it sister I am content.

This break from the Roman Catholic has caused great consternation to my entire family. Could you imagine a family who can trace ourselves to the first Romans who saw it all evolve. Very traumatic! There is a reason for it though. So I stand on my ancestors shoulders.... waiting for the strongman leader. I believe that strongman to be Christ, not the pope, not any evangelical pastor... and not any administrator on this forum. Again my love is in Christ totally

I understand where you are coming from. However, I am those told by Christ " Come out of her my people". I know reforming men is necessary. That goes for all the denominations, Including all those known for screaming reform to all the others.Much will come when men let go of their blind loyalty to all their denominations doctrines. Not all are correct, which are the weeds that, have grown up beside the wheat. I do not reject any truth from Orthodoxy , or Catholicism or Protestantism ( embracing only Sola Scriptura guided by the Holy Spirit ) . There are some good doctrines . Catholics , have throughout history built some good things upon the foundation of Christianity. They are the largest assembly ( church)which has been established. Peter knew it would be a seed that would be spread. The nature of the Roman is to conquer. He called Rome Babylon.
In Peter's first epistle he calls the the church in Rome , the church in Babylon in his farewell .

    1Peter 5:14
    Benediction and Farewell
…13The church in Babylon, chosen together with you, sends you greetings, as does my son Mark. 14Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

He was in Rome when he penned this and called it Babylon for obvious reasons. Moving forward to the Beloved John who prophesied a mystery Babylon , a Harlot upon a beast. Within the prophecy her impending doom is revealed. this is from her conceit. we are warned about that. The humble who are within her are told "Come out of her My people".

Christ used that Queen , who like Jerusalem, became a Harlot. What does a KING Husband do to a wife , a Queen who breaks her vow of fidelity? He cuts her off! However, he takes with Him , his children made into the conformity of His image. The point is, the Catholic Church has had a relationship with Christ. And for many centuries is all the Western world has known to learn of Christ. Christ's seed has been sprinkle throughout the denomination. That seed has been nurtured by His mother. She has cared for those , who by adoption are children of God.

Her messages have not been given because that church is a perfect one . Rather it is because, in God's foreknowledge , it would go really bad and some within it had to be preserved through divine intervention. He sent Mother Mary through visitation, like to Elisabeth to encourage.

I am not talking about to men who walk around giving false adoration to her with their kissing of statues and walking around with Rosary beads and reciting insincere prayers. But to those who listen to her .As she says in all the message follow my Son, honor my Son . She has said this from .the beginning .It is first recorded in the scriptures, Wedding Feast of Canaan" Do whatever He tells you". She charged the servants of the wedding feast to do that , then and always.

Christ is the God head, she is the God heads mother. Nothing in scripture speaks contrary to that. She has taken under her mantle those charged to Christ's service. In her care is to have the same care in development as Christ had. To nurture and protect the developing Christ child in those who are truly to become the NEW MAN or born again.

    • I know what doctrines are true from those born through Christ within the church from Rome . And what weeds have been sown. There is some very good doctrine, I did not say all. My biggest problem with the offshoot of the Harlotry of the church of Rome is, the Blessed Mother Bashing. And the denying of her role which if written in Word and is forever, holy sanctified= shown favor, Blessed among women, that means- above all women. Therefore she is favored above all before her and after her. Greater than John the Baptist, of whom Christ said ; " No man born of women (natural conception) is greater than John the baptist. but I tell you even the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." She being least because she is a woman is therefore even greater than he.
    • Mother to the God Man, protector of His development and nurturer of His being , therefore full of grace= Wisdom because that is what Christ grew up in . She was a seal upon His heart and arm as she for a time lead Him through life. She was His first work of Christianity, made for Himself. At her YES is when she was completely born again and brought to full restoration by His power. She was righteous prior to that because of obedience to the laws handed down from father Moses. And in her the promises to Abraham came to fruition. She became a mother of a nation which is born in Christ. She who was given the singular privilege to raise Christ, was meek and humble through it all She was more than a friend to God , she became the Mother to the Word made flesh.

As Elisabeth proclaimed " I too am highly favored, that the MOTHER OF MY LORD should come to me". She is truly His mother. This can only be said in the Holy Spirit. It is the Confessing , that 1 John 4 says is necessary to know that the spirit of God is within a person. In detail: " Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of you womb, I too am highly favored that the mother of my Lord should come to me. For , from the moment that you greeting reached my ears the babe in my womb leaped for joy".

The Blessed mother's soul magnifies the Lord, because her spirit rejoices in God HER SAVIOR. We all know this proves the RCC doctrine wrong that she needed no Savior. But that does not mean she was NOT made Immaculate through the power of the Most High who over shadowed her. Her conception of Christ was Immaculate and she is the ONLY woman who this was given to and will ever have this happen to . The title of IMMACULATE CONCEPTION is true then for her. For at her yes, she was cleansed of all sin, = Genesis 3:15 I will put enmity, between you and the WOMAN (Mary) - That happened during the annunciation at her YES to God's will. That is why she is Blessed because she heard the Word of God and obeyed! The enmity between satan and her is the HOLY SPIRIT. The Holy Spirit is the mutual love between God the Father and God the Son. This is what filled mother Mary giving her Wisdom in full according to the gift apportioned to her - Christ, Fully God and Man. This is sound doctrine.

Lastly from the moment of her yes she would no longer have sin. For the Holy Seed is within her. Prior to this Immaculate Conception , she was of the same lump of clay as all are. But her distinction came on that faithful moment of the Annunciation.

I have problem with the Calvinist who constantly call her a sinner who IS like everyone else. After this event she had NO sin! Christ took all upon Himself before His death. Hence , why He healed the sick (result of sin in the world) , cast out demons ( result of sin), raise the dead( death came into the world because of sin), ministered and prophesied ( to defeat the knowledge of sin) THEN PUT SIN TO DEATH ON THE CROSS. But for sure He was the lamb of God upon whom FIRST, all the sins of the world were put upon. Not that by spirit or nature He sinned but that He by His own strength is the only one who could possibly carry those
sins and not sin .And nail them to that tree, (called the cross) meaning the Cross of the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil. It represents that duality existing in men because Eve crossed the barrier of obedience which protected her and Adam. The barrier is the seal of wisdom which God intends men to grow in to learn of Him. Seek Wisdom as your bride as Solomon desired, put her as a seal upon your heart a seal upon your arm as Christ is upon your mind. For knowledge of her is better than gold or pearls . In her is the bread of life and in her the wine was mixed. Find her and cling to her, and lean not onto your own understanding. From her cup to your cup.:Thumbsup She is given by Christ.
" Man behold thy Mother, Woman behold thy Son" .Mother to the Head therefore, mother to the body. It is Completion and it is His will. God's will be done!
