The Justice Department’s Criminal Division has already investigated President Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian president about Joseph R. Biden and concluded Mr. Trump did not violate campaign finance laws, officials announced Wednesday.

And a separate division of the department has also ruled that the administration did not break the law by failing to quickly share a whistleblower’s complaint with Congress, saying the matter didn’t meet the definition of “urgent” that would trigger the law.

The department also released the transcript of Mr. Trump’s conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, showing the American leader did talk about Mr. Biden, the former vice president and current Democratic presidential front-runner, and his son, Hunter Biden. But Mr. Trump did not threaten to withhold military aid as some have alleged.\

Appears Mr. Trump violated the law, or do you acknowledge our constitution and it’s amendments as law and did not Jesus say that we must obey the law of the land but we also have to obey God’s law and I believe that Gods commandments have been violated many times by this administration. I cannot overlook the sins that have and are being committed in the name of Christ .

So let me get this straight. You make an accusation against the President that you cannot back up with any facts. As a result when I ask you for some facts you in turn attack the board, meaning everyone that posts here that you do not agree with. Further, you say you came here to seek info on different religious views but immediately take part in the politics section. When someone doesn't respond in support of your view you then go on the attack. Do you believe that behavior lines up with "Gods law"?

Of course you're wrong! A quick look at the site shows there are different forums one can participate in. The OP is in the News forum. If you want just religious views than go there.

No, you are not even close to right, but welcome to the board. Perhaps you were lurking here for such information, which can indeed be found on this board, but why you would think Christians should not hold views on everything in society is beyond me. And there are differing views here.

But just as in everything else, mere assertion is not argument, does not count as a win. And an opinion piece does not count as evidence. Try using facts to support whatever position you hold, and argue logically. That can go a long way to getting at the truth. A judgmental attitude is hardly suitable.

No that is not right. We do discuss politics and news though (notice the forum you are in on this thread). But seriously, you are the one making a claim that the President violated the law. The burden of proof is on you.

What law was broken? I've not seen any evidence of it. What part of the Constitution was violated? I have not seen evidence of it.

DOH! Did You Know There's a Treaty Between the USA & Ukraine Regarding Cooperation For Prosecuting Crimes? - DCWhispers.com

This alone justifies the President. The left knows they are simply creating further division, & will not succeed in impeaching. In the meanwhile they are doing nothing in regards to governing, which is why they are there. They are wasting massive tax dollars in the process.

It appears they made the right call. I read the transcript (PDF link below), which some are referring to as a summary. Not quite. Its general disclaimer only indicates that it is not the inspired, inerrant version, which could only ever be the actual conversation as recorded in heaven. There were no “inaudibles.”

CAUTION: A Memorandum of a Telephone Conversation (TELCON) is not a verbatim transcript of a discussion. The text in this document records the notes and recollections of Situation Room Duty Officers and NSC policy staff assigned to listen and memorialize the conversation in written form as the conversation takes place. A number of factors can affect the accuracy of the record, including poor telecommunications connections and variations in accent and/or interpretation. The word "inaudible" is used to indicate portions of a conversation that the notetaker was unable to hear.

Yes, I saw that. Totally inappropriate. Don't let them breathe until they answer the slur.

    Peace to you

I'm a "him", not a "them." It's totally appropriate to tell the truth about unjust war.
