Greta passed over for Nobel Prize. How dare you?

    Greta Thunberg did not receive the Nobel Peace Prize this year, to which the whole world is saying to the Nobel Committee, How dare you?

    The prize went instead to the "...Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for ending his country’s long-standing border conflict with neighbor Eritrea."

    So is ending a war as important as skipping school every Friday and galivanting all over the world selling windmills and solar panels and taking up collections for temper tantrums? Has the Nobel Peace Prize committee lost their minds? Aren't we at the beginning of a mass extinction? Maybe the Nobel Peace Prize committee didn't see Greta's UN speech:

    Who cares about the Nobel Peace Prize?

    They gave it to Al Gore for his lies about the climate. They gave it to Barak Obama for his "potential" to be a good president.

    They will give it to anyone for any reason. Valid or not.

    Yeah, nice one. Poor Greta. Too young to know anything. She's just a puppet. The puppet master looks eerily like the Star Wars emperor, or do I have that backward?

    In a couple of years, Greta will be 18. Many of us had to hit the road at that age and either find meaningful employment or find a way to make it through college. A kid with a troubled mind such as hers could possibly get through college with lots of help and emotional support, but I find it hard to see her as a work-place success.

    She will be offered a free degree and assistant professorship at Columbia University based on her "life experiences" and contributions toward saving humanity.
