    I too am wondering why threads discussing the core tenet of Protestantism, sola Scriptura, are being closed down. Why is this off limits?

    What’s the next thing they will not permit discussed, God Himself?

    Apparently Baptist accept Tenet over Scripture. They seem to be able to question truth taught by the Catholic Church but are unwilling to discuss or give reason how the tenets of the Baptist Church come about outside of Scripture Alone. If not by men then by who?

    But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you." [1 Peter 3:15]

    The RCC posters do not seem interested in a conversation. They are only interested in our capitulation to their position. So, again this thread is closed.
