White Nationalists Can Now Enlist

I fail to see how a Christian, whose Kingdom is the Kingdom of God can have any other allegiance but to God and the spread of His Kingdom throughout the earth.
Let earthly kingdoms, who are all in rebellion against God, be removed from our allegiance. Let our allegiance be to our King, Jesus, alone.
This is my position. I will not disparage others who choose a dual allegiance. It's just not for me. For me, the Bible tells me I am a foreigner in exile until my King returns.

 

This is the thinking of some who refuse to take any pledge of loyalty.

I have wrestled with this same issue since my youth.

As a public employee, out of respect and honor of others, and in order not to offend I would participate in the public arena. I figured that if Daniel could say "King, live forever" yet knowing he wouldn't but as an acknowledgement of the authority, I figured I could also acknowledge the authority.

 

That's fair. As I said, I won't be upset with another person finding a dual role.

I’m reminded that one of the prophets and teachers of the early Antioch church which commissioned Barnabas and Paul was a life long friend and childhood playmate of King Herod Antipas.

Ambassadors present their credentials before the rulers of the land. They must not bring reproach upon their citizenship by bringing dishonor and disrespect to the authorities of where they reside.

Dual roles do not always mean one compromises their principles.

This is seen when Daniel prayed to the God of heaven with court fools looking through his windows.

 

There is. I know a lot of the old men when I was a kid were white supremacists and were Christians. Their lives bore fruit of a Christian, but white supremacy was all they had ever been taught. They were not real educated. Could not read the Bible. The Baptist pastors, who they learned what they knew about the Bible from, preached White Supremacy. You remember the Cains curse was his being turned black teaching????
Rev, you are making a false judgment. White Supremacy can be based in many factors. Hate is one. Ignorance is another. Ignorance does not necessarily make one a non Christian.

You can not build an intelligent case that all white supremacists are non christians.
Many of them, especially in generations past, acted out of ignorance and not hate. I guess the blood is not powerful enough to cover ignorance in a non Gospel related area. That is the case you are going to have to make.
If one hates his brother, I agree with you. Not all white supremacists hate, many are just ignorant. You let yourself fall into blanket generalizations too often.

Along the exact same lines, are all who are involved in Native Pride also non-Christians? Native Pride is Nationalistic in doctrine.

 

Imagine being arrogant enough to presume the faith of a certain demographic with such certainty. Imagine being presumptuous enough to think you know only what God knows. This pastor needs humbling.

 

I'd have to see the definition of "white nationalist" in the mentioned legislation to weigh in either way.
