Failure to live Christ in love and share the gospel of reconciliation is why Christians have placed their trust in politics rather than in their King. Christians in the US are petrified of persecution for sake of Christ.

    AMEN brother!!!
If, IF, Christians had refused to allow ole "whats-her-name" (O'Hare) to ram her atheistic views into society as a whole back in the early 60s, AND had Christians taken a strong stance on all the liberal desecration/destruction since, we as a nation would NOT be in the dire situation wen are today!
I think Trump was/is POTUS by God's decree to give this nation another chance to get on the higher moral road, and if we do not take advantage of this reprieve NOW, one of the dims will be the next POTUS (01-2021) and, well, "GOOD BY USofA"!!:Devilish:Frown:Mad

False. Polotics control the nation. Christianity or the vacuunm of nonChristianity control politics.

Nope. God controls the nation. When people come to faith, Christ is represented in the country. God has called us to preach reconciliation to Him and His Kingdom. God never called us to control secular governments in order to get our way.

Yep, and if the people are reconciled to God, the government will follow.
Unfortunately Christians are trying to control sinners via legislation rather than reconcile sinners to Christ.

Unfortunately, most Christians are too detached to realize that we must do both.

Historically reconciliation comes first. You cannot legislate morality upon people who are dead in their trespasses and sins. All that happens is you get people who resent your control and work hard to destroy you since they think you are trying to destroy them. What happens is what we now see...a polarization with no hope of reconciliation.

Again, simply because “REAL” Christians have historically kept out of “EVIL” politics.
This is the only nation that the average citizen is, by definition in the constitution, a PART of the government.
Whether you actively co-operate in that “PART” or not is a choice that you, as an individual, make!
IMHO, that lack of concern & involvement way back when, is responsible for the sad state we now find ourselves!!!

All our laws are legislated morality. Its nonsense to say that you cant legislate morality . Murder and stealing are illegal. Both still occur, but they occur at an astromiically lower rate than they would occur if they were legal.

Do you disagree with what I said?

Such a statement assumes there is only one definition of the underlined and everyone agrees with it. It does not therefore make your point.

Using his logic there should be no laws at all.
