According to St. Malachy's prediction, the last pope is here. Malachy called him "Peter the Roman", which I don't see being even remotely close to Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Frankie's birth name. Can anyone provide any more intel on this ?

Most of the popes have come close to fitting Malachy's description of their reigns, even Benny. However, he didn't call Benny's voluntary retirement.

Here's Malachy's prediction about the last pope:

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].

Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.

Now, there are those who believe the whole list is a 16th c. forgery, as it was on the money for the popes up til the 1590s, then the accuracy faltered somewhat.
Far as I'm concerned, the jury is still out. If anyone has any light about why Frankie = Peter The Roman, please post it here.

All we need to do, is stick with the scriptures and the Holy Spirit, as our sole guides, to reveal the coordination of what is happening in our time in accordance with and fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Much prophetically, does appear to be blossoming into view in our times. I'm a firm believer, that those called by God to be Christian watchmen, shall see the day approaching. Day, of course, not meaning The exact calendar time. But Day meaning, the recognition of the times being a perfect match to what was prophecied.
