It has been claimed that Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies at his first coming. No one ever backs it up with scriptures. This thread will do that. However, there were just 30 and not 300.

    The summary of the Law
The Seed both God and Man, a King, a prophet like Moses, the Removal of a Curse, and the hint of a Virgin Birth

    Isaiah 11:1-2
Messiah would be born into the House of David
Messiah would not be born until the House of David had once again returned to a state of poverty which it was during the days of David’s father Jesse. Messiah would be born into a house of lowliness.
Messiah would have the sevenfold fullness of the Spirit and act accordingly.

    Isaiah 42:1-6
Messiah would be anointed by the Holy Spirit
Messiah would conduct himself gentleness and meekness
Although Messiah would appear to end in failure it would in fact be a complete success. The success of his mission actually required his death.
Messiah’s mission includes salvation of the Gentiles.

    Isaiah 49:1-3
Messiah’s first coming would be rejected by Israel.
For a time, the message of Messiah’s salvation would go out to the Gentiles.
Eventually Israel will receive their Messiah he will become their New Covenant.
Israel’s acceptance of Messiah will herald a regathering of all the Jews back to Jerusalem.

    Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12
Messiah would be born in natural circumstances with no unusual characteristics.
Messiah’s first coming would be characterized by suffering.
Messiah’s first coming would be rejected.
Messiah would undergo a legal trial and be condemned to death.
    Messiah would be executed.
Messiah would be buried in a rich man’s tomb.
    Messiah would be resurrected.
All of Messiah’s sufferings were to be substitutionary. He died that we may have life, that our sins may be removed from us. He died that we may enter into a new relationship with God.
Messiah would bring justification to all who would believe in him.
